We still have several spots left in our playday program. The nursery is a great class for little ones who are learning how to share, take turns, and pray before meals♥️🫶🧸 we have visitors from our community come and speak to our students throughout the year so they can learn about our community helpers, and we even have a class pet! Come join our Playday family!

We would love to see some familiar smiling faces this weekend at our pumpkin patch vendor market. In addition to vendors, we will also have hay rides, pony rides, face painting, and a bounce house. Everything is free except for the pony rides. Come out and enjoy the day with family and friends 🎃🫶

Our Playday kids had the best day yesterday! They enjoyed the morning at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Alice TX pumpkin patch 🎃 with their friends and families.

A big thank you to our parents, the Chavarias, for sponsoring the entire field trip. Your kindness is appreciated ❤️

We also had the pleasure of a visit from a local farmer and homesteader Raven Raines who owns Coastal Bend Homestead. She shared several of her animals 🐥🐰with our students, as well as her endless knowledge about growing food 🥕and crops in our area. Our students were able to plant seeds🪴 to take home and she also sent each student home with some homemade soaps and sourdough cookies 🍪

Thank you teachers for making this experience a fun and safe memory we hope they will cherish 🫶

Please prepare for this important dates coming up in the next few weeks! Lots of fun for our kiddos ❤️🐐🐰🐓🎃

Here at Playday at Cornetstone we give our students one of a kind learning experiences!

Thank you Alice Fire Department 🚒for teaching our students how to stop✋🏼 drop and roll, make a family exit plan, and crawl low to the ground to avoid smoke 💨 . Hopefully they will never have to use the valuable skills they have learned, but they will be prepared 🔥

Thank you Dr. Pablo at Hidalgo Veterinary Services 🐶for teaching our students about pet care. They learned how to approach dogs 🐕‍🦺they encounter out of the home and how to ask for permission before petting an animal they don’t know. They learned how to take care of their pets at home and even practiced asking for permission before petting a dog 🐶
