Contentment is an inner peace and satisfaction that we experience when we trust God completely. Being content does not depend on our circumstances or the things that we have… it depends on who we know God to be. It is learning to acknowledge and rest in the fact that God is in control of all things. It is believing in the goodness of God. It is knowing that God knows what’s best for us and will bless us with what’s best for us as we rest on His promises to us.

I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭

Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hands and an open heart. Here, we lay down our dreams, our work, and our aspirations, entrusting them fully into Your capable and loving hands. Grant us the grace to step aside, to not hinder Your divine orchestration, and to find peace in the knowledge that You are at work. Teach us the delicate art of trust, the beauty that unfurls when Your will is done, not ours. May every step we take be in harmony with Your eternal symphony. We refuse to let what we lack make us forget what we already have.

We have another breath.

Another sunrise.

Another opportunity to walk with Jesus.

And that alone is enough reason to give thanks.

God has been too faithful for us to doubt Him now.
