As believers in Christ, today we gather in nice comfortable buildings, we have access to technology in the palm of our hands, vehicles to get us to and from church, internet to help spread the gospel.
However, in the apostolic era, something else believers of Christ lacked that we have in abundance today in the church was .... DIVISION!!

Acts 4:32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul

Brothers and sisters, the "C"hurch needs to do better. The unbelievers are watching us and have decided they are better off in the world, versus set apart from the world, which is not where salvation can be offered. The reason you and I are still here today is to lead others to Christ. We need to be a body of one heart and one soul. The salvation of lost souls is counting on God's people to get it right. Time is running out, brothers and sisters.

Addictions, marriage problems, family disfunction, financial distress, mental issues....We do everything physically possible to correct these issues, but the problem lies much deeper than what is seen and felt in the physical. If the spiritual issues surrounding our earthly issues are never addressed nothing will improve. It must first be delt with in the spiritual before we can ever experience it in the physical.

The l***rs in biblical days were cast out by society. Their skin condition was thought to be contagious so to help prevent the spread of leprosy no one was to touch nor come close to the people carrying this skin disease. Jesus however did not see them as society did. We only read of a handful of times that Jesus physically touched these l***rs and healed them, but there were many others. Jesus healed them before the very eyes of those who had casted them out. Jesus, this morning, wants to touch you and heal you. Not of leprosy of the skin, but of the heart. The condition of the heart that has been weighing you down and making you feel as an outcast. The condition that has had people pointing fingers at you and keeping their distance. The condition that has been keeping you feeling lonely. In the very presence of your accusers, Jesus wants to heal you, but you must be willing to receive the healing. When we reject the healing and miracles of our Savior, we block someone from seeking their healings. Be that healed l***r today.

Romans 8:28 says ALL things work together for good...

Although simple to understand this verse can be misleading, but please do not be mislead. All things do work together for our good, but this does not necessarily include you. To reap the benefit of His promise there is a condition to be met. With that phone in your hand, look up Romans 8:28 and read the rest of the verse.

Jesus on your bumper sticker or t-shirt or a cross hanging around your neck does not make you a Christian. Jesus in our talk, our walk, our home, our decisions, our lifestyle, Jesus in our heart makes us a Christian.

Salt Of The Earth Ministry is in urgent need of baby boy clothe size newborn to 3-6 months. Baby is due to be welcomed in November and with winter around the corner warm clothe would be greatly appreciated. Any parent knows that pampers would also be greatly appreciated.
