This week, I am preparing a message to honor and give thanks for our mothers.

I thank God for my own mom, my wife—the mother of my children—my late mother-in-law, both of my late grandmothers, and all the women, past and present, who have inspired me to follow Christ.

This Sunday, I hope you will join me as we celebrate one of God’s greatest and sweetest gifts: our mothers.

Mother’s Day can be joyful for many, but it can also be tender and difficult for others. My prayer is that everyone who comes will be reminded of the faithful love, comfort, and hope we have in Christ.

If you know someone who needs to hear how much God loves them, bring that friend to church with you. Let us share the Good News together.

Let us be a community that shines the light of Christ brightly and boldly. Let us be a people who truly care for one another by spending time together in the presence of our loving God.
