On Sunday, Pastor Mark led us through a turning point in the letter of Ephesians. After three chapters of deep theology, we now begin to see how that gets worked out in our day to day lives, as God’s Word urges us towards unity in Christ Jesus.

Next Steps:
1. Be a first responder in the fight for unity
2. Seek to love the church, regardless of her present condition
3. Practice the big 5

The message for Sunday is a turning point in the letter of Ephesians. After deep theology in chapters 1-3, we see how that now gets worked out in our day to day, as God’s Word urges us towards unity in Christ Jesus. Unity will help us pursue God’s mission and disunity will destroy it.

Will you help to “maintain the unity” of our church as we move forward in faith? Join us at 9am or 11am and bring a friend!

On Sunday, Eric Siryj dug deep into Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3. Paul's desire is for all believers to know the love of Christ experientially, not just theoretically. We are encouraged to stay rooted in God's love, which is our foundation for a faithful life.

Next Steps:
1. Pray Ephesians 3:16-19 for yourself and our church every day this week
2. Assess your roots and your foundation
3. Enjoy God

Ephesians encourages us to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. But when we drift away from the foundation of Christ's love, we can struggle to live out that calling. In Ephesians 3:14-21, Paul prays that God would spiritually strengthen His church in the love of Christ so that we can persevere in our calling and enjoy Him forever.

Join us on Sunday at 9am or 11am!

On Sunday, Eric Siryj showed us from Ephesians 3 how God's purposes in Jesus Christ are moving forward unshakably. Regardless of our temporary circumstances or present suffering, we can trust in God's plan and purposes, and we know that we have a role to play.

Next Steps:
1. Identify what is discouraging you and ask God's help

Our Story

Connect in a community where people grow.

Sundays at 10:30am in Alhambra. www.churchinthevalleyalhambra.com

We’re here to help people connect in meaningful relationships, grow spiritually, and make real progress as they go through life.

People are very important to us. We try to create a welcoming and safe environment where people who are less familiar with church can easily fit in and learn. And, we help those who have become followers of Christ to develop into fully devoted followers. We use contemporary styles of music and communication to help people learn and grow, and we are ready to change as needed to stay effective in helping people.
