Village Baptist Church was organized in 1979 to bring glory to God by fulfilling the great commandment (Matthew 22:37) and the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Obeying those commandments, Village is committed to ministering and reaching the community in these four areas. Noth

ing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship and fellowship. That is why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family—bonds of genuine concern, and commitment to one another. Best of all, this circle is ever widening. We would love for it to include you, too. Village is a place for learning. To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but it also guides us spiritually. We believe the Bible is God’s Word to people. The Bible is alive and relevant in life today. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure. Village is a place for service. Just as Jesus Christ came “not to be served, but to serve…” (Matthew 20:27). We accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others, both within the church family and outside our fellowship. Village is a place for Worship. The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and receiving His blessings and inspiration. Each of these occasions is a special time of spiritual refreshment.
