When you know you're free in Christ, you won't stay in chains. You won't go back to what hurt you. That's the power of knowing Scripture and knowing who you are in Christ. 🙌🏾

Why do we pray as Christians? Too often, we develop the habit of only praying when things are going well. But as believers, we pray as a response to God's character, not in response to our situations.

Because here's the truth: we exist for God. He does not exist for us.

God is not here to make our lives easier, fulfill every desire, or simply give us what we ask for. We were created for His glory, His purposes, and His Kingdom. He is not our servant; He is our Lord. 🙌🏾

And when that truth changes our perspective, it changes the way we pray. Instead of praying for what we want, we pray to better understand God. Instead of approaching God only when we need something, we come to Him because we want Him.

We pray because He is worthy. We pray because He is Lord. We pray because our lives belong to Him.

Pray today. 💛

God sees your needs. He sees what you're lacking and desperate for, and He will provide for it. 💛

Matthew 6:26 says, "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"

He sees the birds, the livestock, the plants, and most importantly, He sees you. He will provide. 🙌🏾
