What a powerful reminder of what the Church looks like when we come together. ❤️

Through the cooperation of Louisiana Baptists, Calvary Baptist Church - Alexandria, the Cooperative Program, the Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering, and a dedicated team of volunteers, a donated RV has been secured for a woman who lost her home in a recent storm.

In the midst of loss, God’s people stepped in — serving, giving, and showing the love of Christ in a tangible way. This isn’t just about an RV… it’s about hope, compassion, and the hands and feet of Jesus at work.

We are proud to see our LADR Rebuild - Long-Term Recovery efforts being put into action right here in our own community.

We are incredibly thankful for every volunteer who gave their time, every partner who helped make this possible, and for the opportunity to be a light in someone’s darkest moment.

God bless.

LA Baptist Disaster is deployed to Northeast LA for response to Winter Storm Fern. Credentialed LA Baptist DR Volunteers who want to deploy can call the LA DR IMT at 318-995-8207 or email at [email protected]. We need chainsaw, assessors, and chaplains at this time. LA Baptist DR is managing a site in Monroe, LA. We have asked Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief to manage a site in Delhi, LA. Please join me in praying for those impacted by the storm and for volunteers responding. I want to thank SBDR Region 4A members, SBTC, MO, AR, OK, and Texans on Mission for responding to LA. -Stan Statham
