We, as a church, strive to be Christ exalting and scripture honoring in the following ways:
Worship: We desire that as we come together corporately we would do so with hearts overflowing in thankfulness for all God has done for us in Christ. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Psalm 100:4
The Word: Just as the early brethren “continually devoted themselves to the apos
tles teaching” (Acts 2:42) so we desire that our times would be centered around the preaching and teaching of the Word. Prayer: Devote yourselves to prayer Colossians 4:2 We meet weekly for prayer. Click HERE for more information about our prayer meetings. Fellowship: The Lord has so composed His kingdom that we are not to be “lone ranger” Christians but rather be a part of a body of believers. We desire to honor the Lord and serve one another through “encouraging one another day after day” (Hebrews 3:13) and by “Bearing one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
Evangelism: We desire to fulfill the Great Commission through reaching out to our family, the community, and through prayer and financial support of foreign missions. “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2 praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ…Colossians 4:3.
