Want someone to listen? I offer spiritual direction ministry in person or via private online meetings. Spiritual direction, a.k.a. spiritual companionship, is an ancient and ever-new way of paying attention to the presence and action of God in your day-to-day life. In our day, spiritual directors are people specially trained listeners of those seeking to deepen their spiritual life. It is a safe, nonjudgemental, confidential space in which to explore questions, challenges, yearnings, and whatever the individual wants to explore in light of one’s own spiritual journey. (The real “director” is the Holy Spirit or however you perceive the Divine.)
Some reasons people give for visiting with a spiritual director:
• I’m facing a difficult decision and wonder what God wants
• I hunger for a deeper prayer life or want to explore my own unique spiritual style
• I’m struggling with things going on in our culture and/or Christianity
• I’m studying theology/bible and don’t want it to be just a “head trip”
• I was hurt by a religious institution and want to find the love of God again
• I want to be more aware of God’s presence in my daily work and life
