Father’s Day Brunch 2026 👔

Today, we celebrated the life and legacy of Deacon Collins Wade, quiet, humble man whose presence spoke volumes. He wasn’t one to seek attention, but his kindness, faithfulness, and servant’s heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Many will remember Deacon Wade for more than his dedicated service to the church; they’ll remember the love he shared through his famous hog head cheese and cracklins, bringing people together with food, fellowship, and a smile. He had a special way of making people feel welcomed and cared for.

While his voice may have been soft, his impact was great. His life reminds us that you don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to leave a powerful legacy.

We extend our prayers and heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones as they celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

Even when plans change unexpectedly, God’s faithfulness remains the same.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change locations, but we were still able to come together and honor the amazing fathers in our church family. A special thank you to Sister Candace Sibley and her committee for their flexibility, dedication, and hard work in making today’s celebration a success.

Your willingness to serve, adapt, and ensure our fathers felt appreciated did not go unnoticed. We are grateful for your commitment and the spirit of excellence you brought to this event.

To all of our fathers, thank you for your leadership, love, sacrifice, and example. We celebrate you today and every day.

Join us as we celebrate 108 years of God’s faithfulness at Nazarene Baptist Church!

For more than a century, God has sustained, strengthened, and blessed this ministry through generations of worship, service, prayer, and fellowship. As we reflect on where He has brought us from, we are also looking forward to where He is leading us next.

This year’s theme, “It’s Time To Grow Up” (1 Corinthians 13:11), challenges us to mature in our faith, deepen our relationship with Christ, and embrace the purpose God has for His church.

We invite all former members, family, friends, community partners, and fellow believers to join us for this special celebration.
