You will find Alexandria First Baptist Church to be welcoming, with the warmth and fellowship of a small community church, but some of the services of larger churches. We have inspiring Sunday School Classes for young and old alike with a mission to make disciples for Christ. In addition to Sunday morning and evening services and Wednesday night prayer meeting, we have a full schedule of events. Y

AFBC’s Summer Block Party is Almost Here!!
We invite you, your family, and your friends to join us on June 13th from 1:00–4:00 PM for an afternoon of food, fellowship, music, and fun. There will be inflatables for the children and plenty of opportunities to connect with others in our community.

Please bring a lawn chair and come enjoy the day with us.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Summer Block Party has been postponed and will now take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom comes at a cost we should never take for granted.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and remember those who gave everything.

This past weekend, our ladies had the opportunity to attend the Tennessee WMU Missions Get-Together, and what a meaningful time it was 🤍

We are so grateful for the moments of worship, encouragement, and the reminder of God’s heart for missions. It was refreshing to step away, grow together, and be challenged in how we live out the call to serve, both in our communities and beyond.

A legacy of faithfulness. A calling that continues.

We came back encouraged, inspired, and thankful for all that the Lord is doing.

Today we celebrate Christy on Administrative Professionals Day and are so grateful for her faithful service to AFBC.

Since 2014, she has served with consistency, excellence, and a true heart for the Lord. As our church secretary, a youth leader, and Women on Mission leader, Christy pours into every area with care and dedication, making an impact both behind the scenes and in the lives of so many.

She is also a devoted wife, a proud mom, and someone who brings joy through her love of music and her Tennessee Vols spirit.

Christy, thank you for the many ways you serve so faithfully. You are such a blessing to our church family, and we appreciate you more than words can say.
