Here’s a very unique piece that I saw in the library in Ft Pierce, Florida last Saturday. I am planning to make one similar for the Trees show coming up in August. The base is made of cardboard or foam core boards and the top is cut and crumpled pages from a book that have been slightly painted with green paint. I don’t know the name of the person who made it and I would like to congratulate them for their creativity and daring to use these materials to make a tree like thing.

I am happy to share this mixed media painting “Always Grateful, Sometimes Not So Much,” that will be in the next show at Del Ray Gallery. Where as you usually see the male symbol with the female symbol, in my life my partner of 40 years is male- Ed - and I am very grateful for all our years together. (If I don’t respond to your post it’s because I’m having trouble with Facebook currently.)
