This Wednesday, FAME Alexandria is partnering with the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood Services to kick off a brand new Bible Study series — Focus on Our Health. And we're starting with a conversation a lot of us need: Diabetes. We're talking causes. We're talking prevention. We're talking management.
Because Proverbs 3:8 tells us obedience to God's wisdom 'shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.' Church, that's not just a spiritual promise — that's a health promise.

Your body IS a temple. And it's time we treat it like one.

Nursing Home Ministry August 9, 2026

We had a blessed second service on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the nursing home! Rev. Jasmin Williams brought a powerful message titled "If The Shoe Fit Wear It: Are You In The Faith?" based on 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Service Highlights

* The Message: Rev. Jasmin asked us a vital question: Does my walk look like Jesus?

* The Mirror: The Word of God is our mirror. It calls us to do an honest self-examination.

* The Call to Action: Walk in what God says. Walk in forgiveness, holiness, love, and purpose.

We are grateful to our volunteers especially the youth who continue to support the nursing home ministry.
