We were blessed to welcome Deacon John Stiff, a third-year seminarian at St. Tikhon’s Seminary, and his family to our community this weekend. Dn. John served Great Vespers and the Divine Liturgy with Fr. Alessandro Margheritino, our former rector and Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America. We are grateful to both of them for their prayerful service and assistance.

Please join us tomorrow at 6:00 pm for the Festal Vigil, and on Tuesday at 9:00 am for the Divine Liturgy and the Great Blessing of Water, as we celebrate the feast of Theophany!

Blessed Lord’s Day!

While the Hours, Divine Liturgy, and coffee hour will take place as usual, church school is cancelled this morning.

We are very grateful for the rotation of attached and local priests who will lead the various services for the upcoming feasts while we are without an assigned priest.

The festal services are in addition to our usual resurrectional cycle of services. Great Vespers is served every Saturday evening at 5 PM, and the 3rd and 6th Hours, which precede the Divine Liturgy, begin on Sunday morning at 9:10 AM.

Come and worship with us!

On Sunday, December 7, the Feast of St. Ambrose of Milan, our parish was blessed to welcome Fr. David Bozeman, Secretary of the Orthodox Church in America, who presided at the Divine Liturgy. Fr. Joseph Woodill concelebrated with Fr. David, and Dn. Alexander Woodill assisted.

During coffee hour, our joy continued with a special visit from St. Nicholas himself, whose feast was celebrated the day before. After sharing uplifting words on the gift of generosity, St. Nicholas invited us to continue his ministry of love. Lory Easton expressed heartfelt gratitude for the parish’s generous support of this annual service project, and Fr. Sean Levine, our Parish Administrator, blessed the donations.

With grateful hearts, parishioners of all ages formed an assembly line and worked together to prepare care packages filled with snacks, hygiene items, warm clothing, a handwritten note, and other necessities.

Through everyone’s efforts, 💯 care packages were assembled. Parishioners then took bags to share with our brothers and sisters in need over the coming days and weeks. Additional care packages remain available at the church for anyone who would like to participate in this ministry of compassion.

May God bless all who gave, served, and shared Christ’s love in this wonderful effort!
