The church structure was designed by the Boston architect William Pitt Wentworth, and was completed in 1890.

Sunday, September 4th, is Choir Sunday - if you love to sing, come and make a joyful noise! There are copies of the anthem available. Respond here if you are interested in singing, and we will get you a copy! Rehearsal at 8:30 before the service.

Tomorrow, the award-winning For Heaven's Sake quartet will sing and raise our rafters! In two weeks, September 2, we will have a "Choir Sunday". If you love to sing, see our Organist following next Sunday's service for a copy of the music and a rehearsal CD.

Sunday morning, Alexandria Bay resident, Lesa Plantz, is our musical guest. Her beautiful voice will sour in our marvelous acoustics! This is the start of "Pirate's Week", so be sure to arrive early for parking!

Wow! What a morning! The Bishop gave the sermon, a full congregation, and an 8-voice men's choir! The music was fantastic! Stanford, Atwood, Darke, Willan, and Routley - you all write such spectacular music! The Bishop's sermon was spot-on. Sundays like this is what make the Church of St. Lawrence so special!

It's been a while, but we wanted to let you know what a spectacular Summer this has been! This Sunday, August 7, Bishop 'Skip' Adams visits, along with Maybee's Men of Kingston, Ontario. Music will be "Communion Service in F-Major" by Harold Darke, and "Te Deum laudamus" by C. Villers Stanford.
