Please join us at Hillview Memorial Park this Friday, November 10th, at 10am, to help place an American flag on each Veteran's grave. If you are a student and need community service hours, we would love to have your help. It should take around 2 hours.
Veteran's Day, November 11th, is set aside to thank and honor ALL those who served honorably in the military, including those still with us. Next Friday, be sure to thank a Veteran for his or her time, bravery, and sacrifice for this country. Let them know you are grateful for what they've done to maintain America's freedom.
We look forward to sharing our pictures once all flags are in place.

Students that need community service hours come to Hillview Memorial Park (1926 Hillabee Street) at 10am, Saturday May 27th.
We plan to put flags on all the Veterans graves. It will take about two hours. We would love your help as we remember their lives!

POSITION AVAILABLE
Position: Member of The Cemetery Care Team
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with the daily maintenance of the cemetery
• Assisting with grave preparation
• Assisting with installation of monuments and markers
• Assisting with maintenance of equipment
Skills needed:
• Able to work with a team and cooperate with management.
• ability to operate a lawn mower and w**d trimmer.
• able to lift heavy weights.
• Able to work in temperature extremes.
• Willing and able to work weekends.
• Good driving record with and Alabama Driver’s License
Other skills (desirable but not required)
• Able to operate a backhoe and/or track hoe.
• CDL driver’s license
Work Week and Benefits
• Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Some overtime will be required.
• Required to be on call and/or work every other weekend.
• Paid time off after six months of employment.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance available.
• Matching retirement plan.
Salary is negotiable and based on skills, work record, and experience.
References must be supplied and will be contacted.

We have an open position on our team for a maintenance technician.
You are qualified to apply if you...
• Are a team player
• Can work independently
• Pay attention to detail
• Have and Alabama Driver’s license and a good driving record
The job consists of …
• General building maintenance and lawn care at both of our funeral homes
• Clean and maintain our fleet of vehicles
• Manage the warehouse
• Cemetery services (assist with cemetery work and maintenance)
Hours are 7:30 am until 4 pm (30-minute lunch break) Monday – Friday
Some weekend work will be required with overtime pay
Starting pay is $12-$14/hour (dependent on experience)
Health, dental and vision insurance available (paid for the employee)
Matching contribution retirement program (after probationary period)
