The Aledo United Methodist Church 8AM Contemporary Worship
This service offers a more contemporary feel. It is led by the praise band, Connection. A Children's Moment is also featured.

Pastor David Schultz invites everyone to come join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8 am for Blended Worship; 9 am for Sunday School; or 9:45 for Rock and Worship. Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month.

9:15AM Rock and Worship
This newer service is built around electric guitar, drums and bass. It is a slightly shorter (50 minutes), more casual service. Music is presented by

the praise band, Forgiven. Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month.

10:30AM Traditional Worship
This service has a more traditional feel, featuring time-honored prayers and creeds, along with a vocal choir (3 Sundays/month), a bell choir (1 Sunday/month), and organ-led hymns (every Sunday)! Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month. Try one...or try them ALL! Find the one you best connect with and dive in!

This August 21 is the 10th anniversary of the debut of our Forgiven Praise Band which is featured every Sunday at our 9:45 am Rock and Worship service. This past Sunday they led the congregation in “Rock of Ages” which was also the first song they presented ten years ago in worship. Congratulations!

So how far reaching is our social media ministry? Take a look at this screenshot of a message from Tim Jenkins-Wilson. Twenty-some years ago, Tim ran track and cross-county with our son Jonathan. That was back when we lived in Pike County. After Tim graduated from high school, he went to college and then entered the Peace Corps. He has lived all over the world, and earlier this year we happened to meet his lovely wife, whom Tim met when he lived in Mongolia. They now have a family and live in the Chicago area, not far from where Jonathan and Molly live now. But Tim still travels and earlier today tuned into our service while crossing from Poland into Ukraine. That's outreach!
Keep up the good work, Tim! You're a blessing to humankind!
