As you can see from the pictures we had an amazing harvest this week, with a lot more to come. Thank you Lynn Czajkah and Julie Havas soon to be Pouthier for helping pick. Meals on Wheels received a bounty of produce and Julie and I canned 24 jars of sauce. Anyone interested in helping will be greatly appreciated.

Ok troops it is time to get this garden planted!! We are stating Thursday at 4:00pm and anything that doesn't get planted will be planted Saturday morning beginning with a pancake breakfast with Chef Mark in the kitchen!

We have veggie and of course flowers to plant. Last year we were able to bless the Alden Food Pantry as well as Meals on Wheels.

Many hands make light work and we have about 19 flats to get into the ground so your help will truly be a blessing. Bring you little shovels and your happy faces. Thank you so much!!!

What a great day we had yesterday! The bed have been tilled, compost mix, wood chips spread and the deer fence is up! We even planted some onions and peas. Thank you to all that made this possible.

Tomorrow is the big day in the garden! Mulch, compost, tilling and planting will happen, but we need YOU most of all. Many hands make light work, so bring your hands and your rakes, lunch will be provided. Looking forward to an amazing harvest. Thank you for all so much.

Next Saturday the 23rd we are having a work day at church and we would also like to have some mulch and compost worked into the beds. We will have machinery to move it but we are looking for help to smooth it out; anything you can do will be appreciated!
If you have a rake please bring it along. We have onions and peas to plant!!
There will also be a new flower garden around the cross this year with some beautiful perennials.
Lots of new and exciting additions to the garden, so please come out and enjoy some fellowship as we prepare for this years harvest!
