As I look out my office window, it appears the sun is hiding. The weather is uncooperative, and therefore we will move our National Day of Prayer gathering to the sanctuary. Please spread the word if you know someone who may not see this notice. Blessings, we'll see you at noon.

As we work toward our Summer Outings we have a current schedule. As we get closer to the dates we have on our calendar we will post the events with any last minute changes.

Currently We have a tentative date of June 28th for our Worship in the Grove. Please check our web page alcovacc.org for our location map.

Our Alcova Lake service had to be changed due to the availability of the Shelter at Cottonwood Beach. This event is currently scheduled for July 26th. Check this page for any changes as we get closer to that event.

Our last service for the season is scheduled for August 16th at the Pathfinder Ranch. Please check our web page for a location map and this page for any updates as we get closer to this event.

Outdoor services begin at 1030 and are followed by a meal.

Due to the unavailability of the shelter @ Cottonwood Beach on July 20th we have moved that service to the 27th.

🚨PLEASE STOP AND PRAY WITH US

Over a year ago, we planned to feature church planting missionaries Tyler and Ashley Martin for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Week of Prayer on March 8th and 9th. At the time, they had no idea what their journey would hold—but God did. He was already making a way through what they would soon face.

Tyler and Ashley now find themselves in an unexpected season. Ashley has just been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that needs aggressive treatment, requiring significant travel back and forth to another state for the next eight months. They are walking forward in faith, trusting God’s plan for their family, their ministry, and Ashley’s healing. Now, they are asking you to pray with them.

🙏 Would you step into their story and intercede with us?

Let’s pray together:

• For Ashley’s healing—ask God to work powerfully through the treatment, completely eliminating every cancer cell. Pray for healing, strength, and peace.

• For endurance and safe travels as they make the long trip back and forth for treatment in the coming months.

• For their church and leaders as they step up in new ways. God has been preparing their leaders for this moment. Pray for them as they take on more responsibility, and thank God for raising up circuit preachers who are ready to step in.

• For their children—that they would be resilient, comforted, and surrounded by support and deep assurance that they are held in God’s hands, even as life looks different for a season.

💙 Tyler and Ashley have given their lives to sharing the hope of Jesus. Now, in this difficult season, they need the body of Christ to surround them in prayer.

Alcova Community Church will be holding there Sunday January 26th worship service at 09:45.

There will not be Sunday school that day. We will return to our regular schedule on February 2nd.

Alcova will be hosting its final, seasonal, out of building service at the Trout On Inn, September 15th. The service begins at 1030 and is followed by a potluck. Come join us for a time of worship and fellowship.

We have had a couple of exciting weekends that need to be updated. On July 21st we held our annual Lakeside Service at Cottonwood Beach. At the end of the service we baptized my granddaughter Teagen Larramendy.

The following week July 28th, we held a special Baptism Sunday service and baptized 7 individuals, Danielle and Cameron Scott, Todd Rodgers, Shawntel Larramendy (my granddaughter), Addilyn Obert, Wanda Jennings and Susie Edgar.

Our final seasonal out of building service is scheduled for September 15th at the Trout On Inn with service beginning at 10:30.

Our plumbing issue had been corrected so are Easter Service will be held at the church. The weather forecast is cooler temperatures in the morning so we are unable to have service it the river.

Praise God as we celebrate together our Risen Savior.
