My name is Pastor W. Friday. As a teenager I played in Minor League, Little League and Pony League Baseball. While playing in the Pony League we won the championship and I was scouted by the Cincinnati Reds. I had a chance at Professional Bowling and also won an Art Scholarship. As a teenager, I also lost all these opportunities because of my sinful life. I was very rebellious and wicked.
At age nineteen, I was wonderfully converted. To God be the glory! Shortly after my conversion, the Lord called me to preach and I have served Him faithfully for almost fifty years. I attended God’s Bible School and College from 1967 to 1971, graduating with a degree in Bible and Theology. This is where I met my beautiful wife of forty four years, Carol Anne Burroughs. We have been blessed with two wonderful sons that love God, Dave and Jon Friday. I have pastored almost forty years, Wesleyan Methodist Doctrine. Almost thirty of those years was in two pastorates. I retired in 2012 due to stage three cancer. After retiring, I founded Andrew Ministries. Recently, I made a personal DVD set on “Soul Winning” to help small churches grow. I have spent almost fifty years of my personal life serving the Lord in “soul winning.”
This is my research study on living in the last days.

WHERE WE STAND IN TIME
As the days of Noah, so shall it be in My coming. The earth was filled with violence. Jesus said, it’s only going to get worse. Genesis 6:3 also Matthew 24:37-39
Currently, there are 6.2 billion people on Earth. How many will be saved? Jesus said, few will make it. Matthew 7:13-14
Strive to live a holy life so that you will be able to enter into the Kingdom of God. Professing (lukewarm) Christians will be left behind, unless they repent. Revelation 3:14-19
My opinion, if you say you are a Christian, you should be bearing fruit in the following three areas.
1. Attending church faithfully, if you are able. (God made us for worship) Psalm 84:10
2. Reading God’s Word daily and meditating on it. (If you love the Lord, you will love His Word) Romans 10:17
3. Daily earnest prayer, continually seeking God for help and guidance. Jesus said, “Pray lest ye enter into temptation.” Luke 22:40b
When judgement comes and you say, “Lord, I went to church regularly, I preached, I paid my tithes, I had good works,” but you have not read your Bible or talked to Him on a daily basis, He will say, “I never knew you.” Luke 13:27 In the last days, I believe it will be as in Genesis Chapter 19. Men and women will have unnatural affections. (Indulge in s*xual immorality) Genesis 19:1-24 and Romans 1:24-27, 32 God hates homos*xual lifestyles. (unnatural or perverted s*x)
In the last days, the Bible tells us that there will be perilous times. That people will be s*xually immoral, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, covetous, blasphemers, vain, heartless, proud, slanderous, treacherous, without natural affection, reckless, swollen with conceit, idolaters, adulterers, men and women practicing homos*xuality, thieves, greedy, drunkards, revilers, swindlers, murderers, false prophets, false preachers and teachers, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, brutal, not loving good, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, and having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.
It is a fact that unborn babies are being murdered every day. Since Roe vs Wade in 1973, there have been over one and a half billion aborted (murdered) unborn babies. In the United States, this year alone, more than one hundred and sixty thousand babies have been aborted (murdered). Far more human lives have been violently ended by this scourge than by any other war or genocide in all of history. Judgement is soon to come to America, as will it to the rest of the world. Surely God will not tolerate this much longer. I believe judgement is coming swiftly to this world.
We are not our own, for we were bought with a price through the precious blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We must always strive to glorify God in our bodies. The unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Jesus said, He was coming in an hour that you think not. I’m afraid that most people in the world are not looking for the Lord’s eminent return, so sad. Jesus also said, He is coming for those that are looking for Him. Question, are you looking for Him? Over two thousand years ago John said Christ’s coming is at hand. Surely we are at the very end. Revelation 1:3b, Matthew 24:44, Revelation 1:3b, and Thessalonians 2:2
Let’s look at a preview of Jesus coming for His bride. (church) Revelation 19:7- 9 Paul writes of Christ’s coming in the clouds for His church. I Thessalonians 4:13-18
Paul writes of what to look for right before Christ’s coming. II Thessalonians Chapter 2
We need to understand that at the end of the seven year tribulation Christ will return to Earth with His raptured saints. He will sit on the Throne of David to defeat the enemies of Israel. This is the battle of Armageddon. Christ will reign 1,000 years on Earth. Revelation 19:11-19
Before the rapture (meeting Christ in the air) two events must take place.
1. There has to be a falling away of believers, which has already happened. We are living in the Laodicea (lukewarm) church age. Revelation 3:14-19
2. The man of sin (anti-christ) will appear on Earth as the man of peace. He will have great charisma and popularity worldwide. (He will not be Satan incarnate as in II Thessalonians 2:8)
The church, which is the restraining force, will be raptured before the beginning of the seven year tribulation. The Holy Spirit will remain as there will be souls saved during the tribulation. (144,000 Jews will be converted and multitudes will be saved from all nations) Revelation 7:4 also Revelation 7:13-14 Salvation cannot be obtained without the presence and help of the Holy Spirit. Once the church is raptured the Wicked one (Satan incarnate) will be revealed in power. II Thessalonians 2:8 also Revelation 6:2
Three events will happen in Heaven during the seven year tribulation.
1. There has to be the “Judgement Seat of Christ,” where christians and saints will be judged according to their works. Romans 5:10
2. There has to be the “Marriage of the Lamb.” (Jesus marrying His gentile bride) Revelation 19:7-8
3. The “Marriage Supper” will take place before His return to Earth. Revelation 19:9
Events on Earth during the seven year tribulation
1. The anti-christ signs a peace treaty with Israel. Note: One week in Hebrew is seven years. Daniel 9:27
2. One hundred and forty four thousand Jews will be converted. Revelation 7:4
3. Two witnesses from Heaven will come down to Earth (to Jerusalem) to preach. (the two witnesses will be raptured later) Revelation 11:3 also Revelation 11:11-12
4. Great multitudes will be converted from all nations. Revelation 7:9-14
5. The mark of the beast (666) will be enforced. Revelation 13:16-18
6. In the last three and a half years (the Great Tribulation) it seems no one will be saved during this time of God’s wrath being poured out as never before. Revelation 16:10-11
Note: If you miss the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) you will have to go through the tribulation period which is the wrath of the Lamb. Revelation 6:16b
The Bible tells us we, the saved, are the children of God, thus we are not appointed to His wrath. The Bible also tells us to pray that you will be counted worthy to escape these things coming on the Earth. If God kept Noah safe from the flood (God’s wrath) and sent an angel to earth to get Lot out the city of S***m before he destroyed it (God’s wrath), I promise you He will take His bride (the church) before He pours out His wrath.
Note: The last three years and a half years will be the Great Tribulation. At this time men will seek death from the face of the almighty God and will not find it. Those who have rejected or “made light” of God’s dear Son, Jesus Christ, will have to endure the unimaginable pain and suffering of God’s wrath. Matthew 24:21 and Revelation 9:6
Remember Jesus said to the seven churches in Revelation Chapter’s 2 and 3, he that endureth to the end are the ones that will be saved. Jesus said, “he that putteth his hand to the plow (being saved) and looketh back is not worthy of the Kingdom of God.” Note: Lot’s wife looked back and she was turned into a pillar of salt. Revelation 16:15, watch for His coming, lest you be found not ready. Colossians 3:25
The Holy Bible states that there will be signs in the heavens and earth right before Jesus’s coming.
• According to a study by the National Academy of Sciences, in the near future Earth is facing the probability of an extreme solar flare (coronal mass ejection) that will come dangerously close to Earth. Scientist predict that unless NASA can stop it, all electrical power on Earth will be knocked out. The power of such an ejection will race across space and knock us back to the Dark Ages. It’s believed a direct CME hit would have the potential to wipe out communication networks, GPS and electrical grids to cause widespread blackout.
• We see the flood waters increasing worldwide. Scientific research indicates sea levels worldwide have been rising, putting thousands of coastal cities, like Venice, Italy and even whole islands at risk of being claimed by the ocean. The circulation of water is intensifying on, above and below the surface of the Earth causing drought and floods to be more frequent, severe and widespread.
• Scientists predict that in the near future a mega-earthquake could kill an estimated 13,000 people and destroy a sizable portion of the Pacific Northwest. Even more disturbing? It's overdue. FEMA calculations show these types of earthquakes happen at regular intervals in this specific part of the world, roughly, every 240 years. The last one was more than 300 years ago, in 1700, when a quake there sent a 600-foot wave of water all the way to Japan. The Cascadia fault is an earthquake waiting to happen. They know it's going to happen with an energy 30 times the maximum energy of the San Andreas Fault. The massive quake, with a magnitude of up to 9.2, would last about four minutes, according to seismologists, with a wall of water following about 15 minutes later.
• The Yellowstone super volcano is one of the largest active continental silicic volcanic fields in the world. The University of Utah Seismograph Station tracks this activity closely and reveal activity below ground. Some scientists consider Yellowstone to be a “supervolcano,” which refers to a volcano capable of an eruption of more than 240 cubic miles of magma. Two of Yellowstone’s three major eruptions met the criteria. Scientists discovered a massive magma chamber underneath the supervolcano large enough to fill the Grand Canyon 11 times over. Yellowstone’s massive mantle plume is getting bigger. This reservoir of super-heated viscose rock is at least two and a half times larger than previously thought. A new study disclosed on Oct. 27th at the Geological Society of America annual conference, stated a huge earthquake measuring 9.0 magnitude or larger as a result of Yellowstone’s massive mantle plume expansion may be at higher risk in the near future, than an eventual volcanic eruption. Though scientists are mixed as to whether the home of “Ole Faithful” could blow anytime soon, there is one thing they do agree on — if it did, it would push much of Earth to the verge of extinction. Its immediate effects would be deadly enough, with some estimates saying that 87,000 people would be killed instantly. A 10-foot layer of ash would spread up to 1,000 miles away, leaving two-thirds of the country completely uninhabitable. The spread of volcanic ash, rocks and gas would immediately cease any sort of air transportation in much of the world. Once the plume rises high into the stratosphere, the released sulfuric gases would mix with the Earth’s water v***r, which National Geographic reports could launch the country and other parts of the globe into a “volcanic winter.”
The Bible states, in the last days “knowledge” will increase. Listed are a few facts.
• Without going into a lot of detail, just consider the modern technology of computers, iPhone, iPad, cell phones and even watches. (My son, Dave has a “smart watch” that he can do his banking on, receive and send emails and texts)
• In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Burj Khalifa, is the world's tallest building. It is 209 stories, 829.8 m (2,722 ft.) tall. In 2015 plans were released which propose building a giant 'Vertical City' in Basra, Iraq. AMBS Architects have proposed a skyscr**er whose 230 stories will tower 3,780 feet into the sky and provide 16.6 million square feet of space. It is called “The Bride.”
• Scientists and inventors say they are very close and predicting they will be able to program a computer to actually think and give answers on its own.
• America is building a supersonic jet which will travel at 4.5 times the speed of sound and could take people between London and New York in one hour. Commercial flights take between eight to ten hours.
• It is reported, Belgium has a massive computer with the data of every human being on earth called the Beast. A gigantic three story computer located in the administrative building of the headquarters of the Common Market. It is believed that this computer has more than one hundred sources distributing entries and experts have perfected a plan that will handle, by computer, all of the world’s trade. The master plan would imply a system of digital enumeration of each human being on earth. Thus the computer would give each inhabitant of the world a number to be used for each purchase or sale, removing the problem of present credit cards. This number, with the first three numbers being 666, would be invisibly tattooed by laser, either on the forehead or on the back of the hand. This would establish a walking credit card system. The number could be seen only through infrared scanners, installed in special verification counters or in business places. Also reported, during the seven year tribulation, the anti-christ, (satan incarnate) will cause this computer to not only to think but to speak. At mid-tribulation the anti-christ will break his peace agreement with Israel. (Daniel 9:27b) He will sit on the throne in Jerusalem and declare himself as God. I believe, this is when he will force the mark of the beast “666.” If you do not take this mark, you will not be able to buy or sell. If you take this mark, you will be tormented night and day in Hell. (a lake of fire and brimstone) (Revelation 14:9-10)
• Sooam Biotech Research Foundation in South Korea, took DNA from a dead dog and cloned two identical puppies. The technique involved implanting DNA into a “blank” dog egg that has had the nucleus removed. The egg is given electric shocks to trigger cell division and is then implanted into a surrogate female dog. If the Lord tarries, they will soon be cloning humans. Surely God will not permit this. I do not believe that man can put a soul and spirit into a human body.
• The satellite probe (New Horizons) launched on Jan. 19, 2006 by NASA. Traveling at 30,000 miles per hour it took nine years to reach Pluto. It swung past Jupiter for a gravity boost and scientific studies in February 2007. It conducted a six-month-long reconnaissance flyby study of Pluto and its moons in summer 2015, culminating with Pluto’s closest approach on July 14, 2015. NASA knew the day and almost the hour that “New Horizon” would arrive. At its farthest Pluto lies 4.67 billion miles (7.5 billion kilometers) from Earth. At their closest, the two are only 2.66 billion miles (4.28 billion km) apart. How amazing it is, that Pluto is billions of miles from Earth and NASA in Houston, Texas, is able to receive pictures of its surface! Is this not knowledge increased?
Concerning end times.
• A report was released by the United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). The unprecedented U.N.-sponsored assessment of pollinators took two years to complete, with a team of 77 experts from around the world poring over 3,000 scientific papers to compile the report. It is reported that bees are mysteriously dying at a rapid pace. Fox news reported that forty six percent of our food comes from bees. The United Nations study warns, this trend could threaten the world's food supply. Declines in wild pollinators have been noted in northwestern Europe and North America, as well as in other parts of the world.
• The present Pope Francis, a Socialist, is calling on a “one world system.” Many believe he will be the anti-christ or the false prophet.
• The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock face, representing a countdown to possible global catastrophe (e.g. nuclear war or climate change). It has been maintained since 1947 by the members of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, who are in turn advised by the Governing Board and the Board of Sponsors, including 18 Nobel Laureates. The closer they set the Clock to Midnight, the closer, the scientists believe, the world is to global disaster.
The Doomsday Clock has been moved from five minutes to Midnight to three minutes to Midnight. Originally, the Clock, which hangs on a wall in the Bulletin's office in the University of Chicago, represented an analogy for the threat of global nuclear war. However, since 2007 it has also reflected climate change and new developments in the life sciences and technology that could inflict irrevocable harm to humanity. The most recent officially announced setting—three minutes to Midnight (23:57)—was made in January 2015 due to "unchecked climate change, global nuclear weapons modernizations, and outsized nuclear weapons arsenals." This setting was retained in January 2016. Friend’s, can’t you see that we are living in the midnight hour? Jesus is coming soon. It is time to get your house in order. ”Have your lamps trimmed and burning brightly.”
• Billy Graham’s daughter, Ann Graham, is a nationally well-known speaker and she recently said, “I believe Jesus is coming soon.”
The Bible states, “people, will be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.” If it’s not football, or basketball, or baseball, or hockey it is other “pleasures of the world” that people are putting before God. Stadiums are filled with screaming fans on the Lord’s Day. Men, bare chested with cheers for their team painted on their chest. We are living in a “pleasure mad” world. Do you love going to church and meditating on God’s Word more than a worldly event? It is not that pleasure is wrong, but when you put “worldly pleasure” ahead of God it is a sin! The meaning of the “Parable of the Fig Tree”
• Dr. Jack Van Empe has studied prophesy for sixty-eight years. He is quoted as saying, “the budding of the Fig tree is a sign of Israel re-taking Old Palestine and Jerusalem as its capital.
Jesus said, this generation should not pass before His coming or till all these things be fulfilled. He also said, we don’t know the day or hour but we can know the season. I feel very strongly that we are living in that season and His coming is very soon. Matthew 24:32-34
To know the season of the Lord’s coming, we see two generations mentioned in the Bible.
1. In Psalms 90:10, the generation of a man is seventy years. If you take 1948 (Israel becoming a nation) and add seventy years it comes to the year 2018.
2. In the book of Matthew, the generations are fifty one years. Some believe the budding of the Fig tree happened in 1967. (Israel re-took East Jerusalem) If you take 1967 and add fifty one years it still comes to the year 2018.
According to Dr. Jack Van Empe and prophetic scripture, we are at the very end. I don’t know for certain that this is correct, but personally I don’t see how Jesus will tarry that long. If you go to Heaven, it will be a wonderful place for eternity. St. John 14:1-3 also Revelation 21:1-5
Note: The only hope for America is if our country will turn back to God and confess her sins; perhaps we could experience the blessing of God and there could be a short time for many souls to be saved. If this does not happen, judgement is coming to America for her sins against almighty God.
Here is how to be saved if you are not a Christian. (Repeat the material listed below in your own words)
• Admit you’re a sinner or backslidden and have not been living right. Romans 3:23 and Matthew 5:8
• Confess that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. St. John 14:6
• Realize that only through His shed blood, can you be saved. Revelation 1:5
• Realize that there is a danger in rejecting Jesus, God’s only begotten Son. Hebrews 2:3a and Revelation 20:15
• Repent of all your sins, tell God you’re sorry and with the help of the Holy Spirit, you will turn from all your sins. Proverbs 28:13 and Acts 3:19a
• Tell God that you are thankful for Him speaking to your heart. Acts 2:21
• Accept Christ by faith, trusting Him to forgive you of all your sins. By saying to Him, “thank you Jesus for saving me.”
If you do accept Christ as your personal Savior, make sure you get into a Bible believing church and read your Bible daily. I suggest starting in Matthew, reading the New Testament first. Pray every day, continually seeking God for help and guidance.
