2 Chron 7:13-14

13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. KJV

2Chronicles 7:13 speaks of a time when there is no rain which causes draught and famine, a time when locusts are destroying crops, and a time when there is a pestilence or plague. God gives specific instructions about what to do for the land to be healed. We as Christians are believing God for deliverance from diabolical tyranny that is threatening most of the globe. Verse 14 gives specific instructions for healing of the land. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. KJV

1) Humility 2) Prayer 3) Repentance

If we meet these conditions then God will fulfill His promise:

1) Hear 2) Forgive 3) National Healing

Repentance from our sins. We might think, well I may not be perfect, but I don’t live an immoral life, and I don’t have any bad vices. But the Lord is looking for repentance from your way of doing things. A heartfelt prayer: “Lord forgive me for not listening to you and for orchestrating my life according to my desires. Use me however you see fit. I repent of my selfish ways and purpose in my heart to live for you not for me, to die daily to self. Thank you for your forgiveness.” If we as believers will do that, our nation will experience healing. Child of God, humility, prayer, and repentance are the keys to national healing!

Ps 34:1-3

1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad.

3 O magnify the LORD with me and let us exalt his name together. KJV

Psalm 34 is an awesome Psalm penned by David. It is full of praise and spontaneous singing unto the Lord for his great deliverance from the King of Gath. The Psalmist David was chosen by God to be the next King, and the enemy fought him on every hand. But Praise!!! Yes, praise was continually in his mouth. His boast was in the Lord! Spontaneous praise always erupted from his lips. No wonder he scored victory after victory. Your attitude counts and will determine the direction of your life.

An airplane has what is called the altitude which is how far the plane is above sea level. Attitude is the direction of the nose which tilts up or down. The attitude determines the altitude. God’s praise in your mouth will tilt the direction of life towards victory. On the other hand, grumbling and complaining, tilts you towards defeat. Child of God, you can experience victory on a continual basis by God’s praise being in your mouth continually. “Oh, magnify the LORD with me and let us exalt his name together.”

Acts 2:1-4

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. KJV

Today is Pentecost Sunday. Jesus told the disciples that it was expedient that He go away in order for the Comforter (Holy Spirit) to come. He also instructed them to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on High. When the Holy Spirt came, there was a sound as of a mighty rushing wind and the Holy Spirit filled the house where they were sitting. Cloven tongues like as of fire sat on each of them, and they began to speak with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them the utterance. What an outpouring! After Peter was baptized in the Holy Spirit, he stood up with a new power and preached a powerful sermon. He said “this is that which was prophesied by the prophet Joel.” “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” KJV Acts 2:38-39 Thank God for Salvation, Water Baptism, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. How awesome is our God!!!!!

250 Rededication of America, May17, 2026, is historical. This is a day set aside by our President to rededicate this nation to God and to celebrate 250 years as a nation. Statistics tell us that governing documents last 17-19 years, and yet we are celebrating 250 years. Never has this happened in history. Other nations have framed their constitution after ours, but it failed because they left out the “God factor.” The pilgrims that came over on the Mayflower dedicated this nation for the glory of God. There is a new movie out by Sight and Sound “A Great Awakening” featuring George Whitfield and the impact he had on uniting the 13 colonies as one nation under God. Today we must be a nation whose God is the Lord. Franklin Graham called us to prayer and fasting today. Child of God, may you be blessed and increased in things of the Lord today!
