1. Jehovah-Jireh (61-0209)
In this sermon, Bro. Branham explicitly recounts the incident where ministers attempted to separate his prophetic gift from his doctrine:

"One of the local sponsoring pastors called this man up... and said, 'Now, Brother Branham, when he's under the anointing is a servant of the Lord, but his theology is no good.' Said, 'He's a prophet when the anointing is upon him.' But said, 'When the anointing is off of him... oh, his theology is no good.'"

Bro. Branham directly refuted this mindset, teaching that a prophet is fundamentally a "Divine revelator of the Word" and that the signs were given specifically to vindicate the truth of the Message, not to be separated from it.

Bro. Branham spoke about ministers who would stand on the platform with him, raise their hands, and praise God for the miracles, only to go back to their denominational boards and warn people against following the doctrine:

"They love the signs, they love the miracles, but when it comes to the Word, they step back. They want the popularity of the sign, but they don't want the reproach of the Word."

Toward the end of his ministry, Bro. Branham reflected on how denominational leaders used his meetings to build their own local attendance or organizations, yet opposed the very truths he was sent to deliver once the meeting ended. He noted that many ministers tolerated the gift only as long as it did not challenge their established traditions.

I seen a vision one time at Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I was just holding a meeting in a big auditorium. And--and one man, being a minister somewhere, had been called out in the meeting (I believe a Baptist minister), and begin to tell him about his life. One of the local sponsoring pastors called this man up and asked him, "Was that so? Did you ever know Brother Branham?" not knowing that I'd know all about it in my hotel room. See? But the…And after the Lord had revealed to me that what he had done, well, then I looked, and--as one of the men had went down and said, "Now, Brother Branham, when he's under the anointing is a servant of the Lord, but his theology is no good." Said, "He's a prophet when the anointing is upon him." But said, "When the anointing is off of him," said, "oh, his theology is no good."

A man that would make a statement like that don't even know what the word prophet means. A prophet means "a Divine revelator of the Word." See? And these signs are a vindication that that's what is the truth.

63-0606 Show Us The Father

THE WORD, Jesus said, is A SEED that a sower sowed. And any germitized seed in the right kind of soil will produce its kind.
And now I realize that this is being taped. And these tapes, we have a tape ministry, all over the world. And many people, just here tonight, where about a thousand people are listening. Before this tape stops, there'll be ten times ten thousands hear it, see, around the world.
And I go on record, I say this, about the Word of God being a Seed. IF YOU CAN TAKE THE RIGHT MENTAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS ANY DIVINE PROMISE OF GOD, HE WILL BRING IT TO PASS, IF YOU CAN GET YOURSELF IN POSITION TO BELIEVE THAT THAT PROMISE WAS TO YOU.

But if you let some Ricky place it off on, with more education than he knows gumption enough to know how to control it, can stick it off on some age gone by, or some age that is to come, it'll be of none effect to you. Like Jesus said, _"You take your traditions and make the commandments of God of no effect,"_ when you try to place God some historical God, or some pre-coming God.
"He's the same yesterday, today, and forever." He's just as much God now as He ever was. And if you can take that attitude, that that promise is unto you! Jesus said, in Saint Mark 11:22, "Verily I say unto you, if you say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you've said will come to pass, you can have what you've said. I say, when you pray, believe that you receive what you ask for, it'll be given to you." How much more promise could be made than That? You've got to believe it, because IT IS A SEED.

In the garden of Eden, when man realized he had sinned, he tried to make hisself a religion, a covering. The word religion means “covering.” And Adam and Eve sewed fig leaves together, and made themself a religion. And since then it's been a strain of man down through the age, trying to do something to save hisself.
But you are saved by grace, election, God's foreknowledge, predestination, foreordination. Paul tells the church at Ephesus, that, “God predestinated us in Christ before the foundation of the world.” Think of it! “Predestinated us in Christ before the foundation of the world.” What we worried about then? Get away from the worry, we're just the happiest creatures you could ever have seen. My, how can you believe that and keep from being happy?

Refuse to sign for anything the devil brings. He will have to take it back. SAY, "I refuse to have it. I just won't have it, no, sir." He will have to take it back in the Name of the Lord. If you believe it, and confess it, and say, "I've accept Jesus Christ as my Healer," there's no affliction or disease can stay on you. STAY RIGHT WITH IT.
But the first time that you get weak and say, "Well, yes, I've still got it." Then you drop right down to where you was at. You signed for it, then took it back. Say, "Yes, Mr. Devil, I—I'll have it back." Oh, brother.
You stand right there as—as long as there's a breath in your body, SAY, "I refuse to have it. I refuse to have it." How do you feeling? "Wonderful, hallelujah." That's it. That's right. Show the devil what you're made out of; you're borned again by the Spirit of God, and you don't have to bow down to his images. Stay right there, say, "I don't want your stuff."
"Why, here's your name on it, the doctor said…"
"I don't care what he said. I know what God said. Get away from here with it."
That's right, that's the way to treat him; hand it back. He was the one give it to you, he will have to be the one take it back.

Párese Ud. ahí mientras—mientras que haya aliento en su cuerpo, diga: “Yo me rehúso a recibir eso. Me rehúso a recibir eso”. ¿Cómo se está sintiendo? “De maravilla, aleluya”. Así es. Eso es correcto. Muéstrele al diablo de lo que Ud. está hecho; Ud. ha nacido de nuevo del Espíritu de Dios, y no tiene por qué postrarse ante sus imágenes. Párese allí, DIGA: “Yo no quiero tus cosas”.
“Pues, tiene aquí tu nombre, el médico dijo…”
“A mí no me importa lo que él dice; yo sé lo que Dios ha dicho. Fuera de aquí con eso”.
Correcto, así hay que tratarlo a él; devuélvaselo. Él fue quien se lo entregó a Ud., él será el que tendrá que llevárselo.

We're living in America, that's true. That's the body part. But the soul that conducts us, our character, is from Above. We live from Above because we're born from Above. All Christians come from Above. Jesus said, "I am not from below. I'm from Above. If I was from below, My subjects would fight for Me. But My Kingdom is of Above." So is every man that's born of the Kingdom of God, he's from Above.
