The Lighthouse of New Mexico is a Muslim Community Center established to provide an inclusive house of worship for the community to meet for Friday Jummah services, pray the five daily prayers (Salat), provide services that include lessons in Islam, Qur'an, and Arabic as well as programs for adults and the youth. The Lighthouse serves all Muslims with a focus on new Muslims, convert-American Musli

ms, second-generation Muslims, Muslim immigrants, and particularly the Muslim youth. The Lighthouse progressively collaborates with the faith-based communities on projects for the betterment of the Albuquerque Community. The Lighthouse of NM Board has selected board members that reflect the diversity of our Muslim community in NM by having a multi-ethnic and multicultural board with the first female president of an Islamic Organization in New Mexico.
