Thank you, Pastor Dave, for walking us through the book of Ecclesiastes with the reminder to live with the end in mind so we can steward what God has entrusted to us with diligent action and grateful joy.

In the last chapter of Ecclesiastes Solomon paints aging in vivid images (dimming lights, trembling hands, slowing steps, etc.), not to shame youth or fear age - it's to wake us up. If we wait to become God-centered "someday," we may discover that the body's decline and life's responsibilities don't create spiritual focus automatically. Often, they reveal what we've been building (or neglecting) all along.

So today - while there is breath, while there is opportunity - remember your Creator. Not vaguely, not occasionally, but deliberately. Invest in the "inner person" now: worship when it's inconvenient, open Scripture before the day runs away, confess sin quickly, practice generosity before you feel "ready," and love people in concrete ways rather than assuming that you will do it later.

And as you take God's coming judgement seriously, you don't have to carry it with panic. You rest in Christ's finished work - even as you let that grace shape a life that lasts.

Lord, help us remember You today - not later, not when life slows down, not when we're forced to. Build what lasts in us now. Teach us to steward our time, body, relationships, and gifts with grateful joy and reverent obedience, resting in Christ as we walk with You. Amen.

What an incredible first day of VBS! 🙌

We had a fantastic start as we shine the light on who Jesus really is this week! The energy, joy, and excitement were contagious.

Would you join us in praying for all the precious kids attending? We’re asking God to grow each one in their relationship with Him, increase their knowledge of His Word, and fill their hearts with a deeper love for Jesus.

We’re also so grateful for our wonderful volunteers who are serving with such love and making everything run smoothly — please keep them in your prayers as well!

Let’s believe God is going to do big things in the hearts of these children this week!

🎓 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS!🎓

Today we celebrate you—your hard work, your growth, your laughter in the hallways, and the light you’ve brought to our church family. As you step into this exciting new season of college, careers, and new adventures, we are so proud of the young men and women you’ve become.

Church family, let’s wrap our seniors in prayer as they go forward! Pray for protection, wisdom, boldness, and strong faith that stands firm in every new environment. May they shine brightly for Jesus, walk in purpose, and always remember they are loved, supported, and covered in prayer.

We also want to give special recognition you to our new Student Pastor, Ethan, who will be pouring into our students with powerful teachings of Scripture and faithful prayer. We can’t wait to see how the Lord uses you in the lives of these students!

God’s hand is upon you—go change the world for His glory! ✨

Another powerful message from Pastor Dave; one that prompts us to work backward from the finish line - not out of fear, just clarity. The truth of Ecclesiastes reminds us that our days are real, our limits are real, and yet our lives are truly in the hand of God.

It's not a call for us to panic, rather a call to perspective. Death is certain, life is uncertain, and therefore today is not the day to build a personal legacy that can't last. Today is the day to live in such a way that, whenever the finish line comes, your life points to Jesus - trusting His grace, obeying His words, enjoying His gifts with gratitude, and walking with steady readiness.

Today's prayerful question for you: If you were to meet Jesus sooner than you expect, what would you want to change about how you treat God, people, and the "ordinary gifts" in front of you today?

🌹 Remembering with Gratitude on Memorial Day 🌹

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their courage, selflessness, and love for country remind us of the high cost of freedom. We are forever grateful.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:13

As a church family, we lift up in prayer the families and loved ones who still feel the ache of their absence. May God comfort them and give them peace. We also thank Him for the freedom we enjoy because of their service and sacrifice.
Let us live lives worthy of their legacy — lives marked by faith, love, and service to others.

God bless our fallen heroes. God bless America.🇺🇸

📢 Don’t Miss This Tonight!

Join us Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 PM at New Covenant Church for a powerful night of training and teaching with !

She’ll be exposing the dangers of New Thought — a movement many have never even heard of — and how its heretical theology and toxic positivity have quietly infiltrated our schools, social media, families, and even churches.

Melissa will equip students, parents, pastors, and believers on how to recognize this dangerous ideology, its connections to relativism, progressivism, and the Word of Faith movement, and how to speak the truth in love to those who’ve been deceived.

Plus, there will be a pastors and ministry leaders roundtable discussion followed by Q&A — your chance to ask questions about this movement and its reach into our culture.

🕕 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 New Covenant Church

Childcare provided for kids ages 0-5th grade!

This is a heresy too large to ignore and too dangerous not to combat. Come grow in Christ and get equipped to stand firm and share Him boldly.

See you tonight! 👏
