💁🏻‍♀️ We are not called to do everything. There are some plans out there in this wild world that it is not our job to live out. David wanted to build a house for God and God told him he wasn’t the one to do it. Its okay to accept when God says no to us, and it’s good for us to move on. God telling David no wasn’t a rejection; it was a clear direction. Don’t let God’s no discourage you. God has something else and a few verses down God shared that with David. One closed door means there is another door unlocked and ready to open... ♥️

💒 If we could do the below verses successfully all the time the church would be larger, healthier, more joy-filled, and thriving beautifully. It is insanely easy to see all the flaws and struggles in others. Building each other up takes intentionality and an eye to see the good. Living in harmony and not judgment means acting in humility to see that we all need grace. May we be the people that say encouraging words that build up rather than tear down. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

🌸 I am SO in love with the verse below. Mary’s heart for Jesus was that of honor, generosity, adoration, and pure devotion. She gives Jesus the best of the best, lavishing Him with expensive ointment (which is like perfume). She was criticized for it too, judged for “wasting something so expensive” on Jesus. When we give Jesus our best, sacrificing a lot for Him, it is NEVER a waste. Giving up things for Him doesn’t always make sense to others but do it anyway. I am praying for all of us this morning to have hearts like Mary - fiercely devoted to Jesus! ♥️
