Congratulations to Our 2026 Catholic Award-Winning Teachers!
We are proud to announce that nine exceptional educators from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic Schools have been selected to receive the 2026 Catholic Awards for Teachers from The Catholic Foundation.
These dedicated teachers come from a variety of schools, backgrounds, and disciplines—but they all share one profound quality: a deep love of Christ that they joyfully pass on to their students. Through their words and actions, they help young people grow in faith, hope, and love—encouraging them to embrace their Catholic identity in their daily lives.
These teachers don’t just teach for today—they inspire hearts and minds for a lifetime. We are grateful for their unwavering commitment to Catholic education and for the difference they continue to make in the lives of their students, now and for years to come.

Today we observe The Assumption of Mary which remembers two events – the departure of Mary from this life and the assumption of her body into heaven. Mary was assumed or taken up into heaven by God. This feast day is considered as the Holy Mother’s “heavenly birthday” and not as a day of mourning, sadness or loss for her, but a celebration of joy for the union of the mother with her beloved son.
