Day One Highlights from the New Mexico Baptist Annual Convention

President Stephen Baum lead the annual convention with a message, reminding us that “confessional clarity fuels missional unity.”

We were encouraged by Dr. Adam Groza, President of Gateway Seminary, who shared a message with New Mexico Baptists and later joined Jeff Dalrymple, Director of Abuse Prevention & Response with the SBC Executive Committee, for a thoughtful panel discussion.

Together, they spoke about their faith journeys, the vital importance of their work, and how the Baptist Faith and Message connects seminary education, the life of the SBC, and abuse prevention efforts.

For a lighter moment, we learned that Dr. Groza’s favorite meal is spicy Korean bulgogi, while Jeff prefers classic Mexican cuisine!

As we move into Day Two of the BCNM Convention, we look forward to important business, and a time of worship led by NMSU Christian Challenge.
