This Saturday, June 6th, St. Jude will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. In today's Checking In, Deacon Rob and Deacon Andrew discuss how we as a faithful community will participate in the tradition of processing with the Blessed Sacrament, as well as the opportunity to participate in a guided adoration and celebration of the Mass. All are invited and encouraged to join us.

Fr. Tri celebrates 30 years of priestly ministry on Friday, June 5th! Do you remember your First Holy Communion? Most Catholics can vividly recall the excitement of preparing for the sacrament, the special outfits, meaningful gifts, and the joy of gathering with family and friends. This month, 137 St. Jude students will celebrate their First Holy Communion, a time of deep significance for every Catholic. This week, we follow one young St. Jude parishioner, Maisie, as she interviews her teacher Mrs. LeBlanc, and Fr. Tri about this incredibly important day.

St. Jude Parish is exceptionally proud to honor all graduates within our community this evening, Saturday, 5/16 at 5:00 PM at our annual Graduation Mass! Each graduate will recieve a special blessing and be celebrated after with an ice cream social in the Parish Hall. Please join us at this mass and help pray for our graduates, that God will be with them through every step of their journeys!

Today is the Solemnity of The Ascension of the Lord (transferred to Sunday, May 17th in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe). Fr. Tri and Deacon Rob discuss the meaning of this solemnity, how it represents Jesus ascending into heaven after doing the will of God. Also discussed are the next several solemnities, including Pentecost, the birth of the church, and how like the disciples, we should be inspired and empowered to go and preach the gospel.

A special invitation from the St. Jude Legion of Mary to all - please join us for the May Crowning and procession on Saturday, May 2nd, starting with a spiritual talk in the Fr. John Conway Center at 4:00pm. The procession to crown the Blessed Virgin Mary will begin around 4:30pm. All participants will be given a flower to place at Mary's altar. Please join us in this special devotion to our Blessed Mother in the crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth!
