This week, kids learned in 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 that everyone in God’s family can, and is called to, do their part. Kids also learned ways they can pull their weight. They found out when everyone is a hard worker, God’s family and their family runs well. And they found out that being a happy, hard worker can help us feel good about ourselves and our ability to do good in God’s power, too. Bible Memory Verse: “Brothers and sisters, never become tired of doing good.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Elementary Daily Discussion
This week in Luke 20:27-40, kids learned from Jesus that heaven will be amazing. The Sadducees tried to trick Jesus into casting doubt on eternal life in heaven because they didn’t believe in it. But Jesus answered all their questions and assured everyone that our eternal life in heaven through faith in Him will be more amazing than anything we can imagine. Children explored what they imagine heaven might be like. Bible Memory Verse: "And they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection." Luke 20:36 (NIV)
