Swan Lake Road Church

Today was full of emotion.
Laura came early to prep food.
We gathered in the house of the Lord.
Singing our favorite worship songs.
A beautiful dedication of a new child , Aaliyah , tears of a lost loved one Danica .
We stood united and supportive .
Pastor Sue lead us in prayer.
Pastor Mike did our final communion. Jacey and Kiira took the last offering offering
Pastor Steve gave a beautiful encouraging last sermon.
The future of doing and spreading Gods Word was handed down a generation to Pastor Mike Jr.
Jacey and Julie closed in prayer .
We gathered around in fellowship with food.

It was hard but we have faith that God has a prosperous future ahead for our community in the hands of Pastor Mike Jr. as the doors will open again as Good Hope Alborn.

We had a very successful wonderful week of VBS at Swan Lake. A special thank you to Pastor Steve and Judie Ario, Pastor Mike and Sue Jurek and Pastor Mike J. jr for teaching the kids about building a friendship with Jesus.

We will be having our last service as Swan Lake Rd church this Sunday June 30, 2024 @11:00 with pot luck to follow. The door will temporarily close until:

On September 15, 2024 the doors will re open as Good Hope Church Alborn.

Pastor Mike Jurek Jr. will be leading the community into a new walk with God.

When God Closes one door He will open another!!!

Pastor Steve and Judy Ario are retiring from Swan Lake Road Baptist church.

His last sermon will be Sunday Sept 3 @11:00.
We will have a pot luck after service.

Thank you Steven and Judy for all your time and dedication to the church and the family of God. We pray that you will enjoy your free time together and rest.
