URE-Kids partners with parents to lead the next generation in Wisdom, Faith, Friendship, Family, and Fun!. We value small groups and consistent small group leaders for the children to have in their lives to partner with p

arents. By the time a child is 5 years old, we want them to know 3 basic truths: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus wants to be my Friend Forever. By the time a child starts middle school, we want them to remember, I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

🌟 URE Kids Sunday Recap! 🌟

Today was an exciting Sunday at URE Kids because we officially kicked off our brand-new curriculum — God’s Kids! 🧡💙

This week, our kids learned a BIG truth:
🌎 God made a good world!
📖 Genesis 1:1–2:4
✨ “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!” — Genesis 1:31

And the learning doesn’t have to stop when Sunday morning ends! God’s Kids also comes with a FREE RightNow Kids Parent App that gives families access to weekly lessons, videos, activities, and more. It’s a great way to continue the conversation and grow faith at home all week long!

We’re so excited for everything our URE Kids are going to discover as we learn more about who God is, what He has done, and what it means to be one of God’s Kids!

🌟 BIG things are coming to URE Kids this September! 🌟

We are so excited to launch God’s Kids, our brand-new curriculum through RightNow Kids! 📖

Each week, our kids will experience fun, engaging, biblically grounded and Christ-centered lessons designed to help them know God, understand His Word, and grow in their faith. ❤️

And one of our FAVORITE parts? Parents get to be part of it too!

📱 Every Uwharrie Community Church family will have FREE access to the RightNow Kids app, where you can:
✨ Watch the same lesson videos your child sees at church
✨ Continue the conversation at home
✨ Practice memory verses together
✨ Use prayer prompts and activities connected to the lesson

What happens on Sunday doesn’t have to stay on Sunday. Our hope is to help families continue growing in faith together all week long. 🏡❤️

🎒✨ URE Kids Back to School Bash! ✨🎒

What a FUN morning with our URE Kids and Students ! We had such a great time celebrating the start of a brand-new school year together!

There were lots of laughs, fun, and sweet memories made—but more importantly, we had the opportunity to remind our kids that Jesus goes with them wherever they go!

As our kids head back to school, we are praying for each of them—for courage on the nervous days, kindness toward others, wisdom as they learn, and confidence knowing that God is always with them. 🙏📚

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make today possible! Whether you helped set up, serve, clean up, love on our kids, or prayed for this event—we appreciate you! 🫶

Reminder: Promotion Sunday is tomorrow August 9th.

3 year olds, rising Kindergarteners, 3rd graders, and 6th graders will be recognized in the 10:30 service tomorrow. These are the URE Kids who are being promoted to the next class, or to URE Students.

We're getting ready to celebrate our kids moving up to their new classes, and we want to make sure we don't miss anyone!

🌧️ URE Kids Water Day Update 💦

After checking the forecast again, we've made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's Water Day.

We knew there was a chance of rain, but we didn't realize how cool the temperatures are expected to be in the morning. We want to make sure all of our kids have a fun and safe experience, and unfortunately the weather just isn't cooperating this time.

We know everyone was looking forward to splashing around, and we're disappointed too! Thank you for understanding.

We appreciate your support and can't wait to see Prek-12th graders in 2 weeks at our Back to School Bash! 💙
