Ephesians 2:1-10
John 10:10

Ephesians 2:1-3 - Tells us we are born into sin. “Spiritually Dead”

Ephesians 2:4-5 - Tells us of God’s divine interruption in our life.

“But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5

Ephesians 2:8-9 - Tells us of God’s “grace” - the ultimate favor of God.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God - not because of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2: 8-9

Ephesians 2:10 - Tells us our purpose in Jesus is to enable us to do things - good works.

Freedom isn’t the “finish line” - it’s the “starting line.”

Jesus’ love in us causes us to want to do things for God.
Not we “have to” but we “want to.”

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

The grant is approved. Now it’s our turn to move.

AFA has received a $55,000 Cannon Foundation grant for safety improvements. We’re raising another $30,000 by December 31 to make an $85,000 investment in fire safety, cameras, electronic door access, and a new preschool entrance. Whether you attend AFA or simply care about local kids and families, you’re invited to help.
