In Loving Memory of Minister Kathy Coleman

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the earthly transition of our beloved Minister Kathy Coleman. Words cannot fully express the impact she had on my life and ministry. She was more than a minister, she was a teacher, an encourager, an example, and a living testimony of God’s grace.

Minister Coleman possessed an extraordinary love for the Word of God. She could recite Scripture with remarkable accuracy and power, allowing God’s Word to flow from her heart with ease. She taught us the importance of outreach, showing us that ministry extends beyond the church walls and into the lives of people who need God’s love. Her wisdom, her smile, and that warm spirit she carried everywhere she went will forever remain in our hearts.

The pain of her absence is real. It is difficult to look upon the Praise Team and not see her there. It is hard to attend Women’s Ministry meetings and not hear her voice. It is heartbreaking to stand in intercessory prayer and not hear her petitions rising before the Lord. Her presence brought strength, joy, and encouragement to every room she entered.

The Litman Women’s Ministry has truly lost a giant. Yet while we grieve, heaven rejoices. God has called His faithful servant home.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15

Minister Coleman leaves behind a legacy that challenges each of us to live as she lived: to love God with all of our hearts, to pursue holiness every day, and to diligently Study the Living Word of God!!!

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

As we remember her life, let us honor her legacy by remaining faithful to God. Let us continue to serve, pray, witness, worship, and stand firmly upon His Word.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” Matthew 25:23

Rest well, Minister Kathy Coleman. Your labor was not in vain. Your voice may be silent on earth, but your example will continue to speak for generations to come.

Until we meet again!

Minister Teresa Thomas

Word for the day…

“When the Wine Runs Out”

They were at a wedding, a place of joy, covenant, and celebration.
But suddenly, the wine ran out.
What do you do when what once brought joy, dries up?

In Gospel of John 2:1–11, Jesus performs His first miracle not in a temple, but at a wedding in Cana. That alone speaks volumes, He cares about relationship, not just ritual.

Mary saw the lack and took it to Jesus. Then she told the servants:
“Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5)
That’s the instruction for us today.
The servants didn’t question.
They didn’t debate.
They obeyed.
They filled waterpots which were used for old purification rituals, with water. And somewhere between the filling and the pouring, water became wine.

Here’s the revelation:
* What runs out in your life is not the end, it’s an invitation
* Jesus doesn’t just restore, He upgrades
* The best is not behind you, it’s still coming
The master of the feast said:
“You have kept the good wine until now!” (John 2:10)
While others settle for what was,
God is preparing what will exceed it.

But don’t miss this:
Some tasted the wine, but didn’t know where it came from. The servants knew. The disciples believed.
Obedience will give you insight that spectators will never have.

If the “wine” has run out in your life, joy, peace, clarity, strength, don’t panic.
Take it to Jesus.
Then do exactly what He says, even if it doesn’t make sense.
Because when Jesus is involved, Empty is never final.
