“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬

May we never forget the sacrifice made for our freedom.

SCA students and athletes had a service day at the Hope Center last week. They shared a meal, served others, toured our FCA offices, and left with handfuls of FCA merch. What a blessing it was to watch these students serve the Lord with joy and generosity!

Celebrating our Robert Cross Middle School FCA 8th graders!

Last week, students involved in FCA received an FCA Bible and Graduation Cord as they prepare for their upcoming graduation. What a special way to recognize their commitment during their middle school years.

Also, a HUGE thank you to Mr. Brent and Mrs. Doris Houston for making this possible for the 4th consecutive year! Your generosity and investment in these students continues to make an eternal impact. 🫶

PRAISE: 30 cases of Bibles picked up last week!

We’re grateful for every opportunity to place God’s Word into the hands of students across the Albany Area. Thank you to everyone who supports the mission of FCA and helps make moments like this possible. We can’t wait to see how God moves through these Bibles in the lives of coaches and athletes!

The playbook for life.

Tuesday, 5th graders at Southland Academy FCA spent time in the Word and received their very own Bibles! The lesson centered on how the Bible is our ultimate playbook — guiding every step we take.

It gives us direction, builds discipline, shapes our character through teamwork, and leads us to pursue victories that last far beyond the game.

We’re incredibly grateful for moments like these and the seeds being planted!

From the silence of Friday… to the victory of Sunday.

“But the angel said… ‘Do not be afraid… He is not here, for He has risen, as He said.’” — Matthew 28:5–7

Everything changed in that moment. Fear gave way to hope. Death gave way to life. The promise was fulfilled.

This is the good news—we don’t serve a Savior who stayed in the grave.

He is risen as He said, and because of that, we have real, living hope today.

Good Friday isn’t just about remembering what happened—it’s about understanding why it matters.

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus didn’t just endure the cross—He chose it. Out of love. For us.

Every wound, every moment, every breath was part of a greater story of redemption.

Today we pause in the weight of that sacrifice… and the hope it brings.

If you’re anywhere near Americus on April 3rd, this is something you won’t want to miss.

That evening, Georgia Southwestern State University’s campus will come alive as two campus ministries come together for a special Good Friday gathering centered on worship, community, and reflection.

Things will kick off at 6:30pm on Sanford Lawn by the clock tower, where people can hang out, enjoy some snacks, and connect with others. Then at 7:30pm, the focus shifts to a time of live worship, prayer, and a message reflecting on the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice.

It’s a simple but powerful way to pause, remember, and look ahead with hope. Mark your calendar and bring someone with you.

Blessed to spend time with Lee Co. Baseball earlier this week — sharing the truth of the Gospel and Philippians 4! Praising the Lord for all He’s doing in Albany Area FCA.

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We’re praising the Lord for an incredible first-ever FCA huddle at GSW 🙌

Over 40 students showed up from multiple sports, and the student leaders stepped up and took charge—leading games and worship while creating a truly welcoming space.

We’re grateful for the FCA volunteers, ambassadors, and student-athletes who are pouring into this huddle and helping build something incredible. This huddle couldn’t function without them!

Glory to God!
