SENIOR SUNDAY: A LEGACY OF FAITH. Sep 20, 2026 @ 11:00 a.m.

Join us for a special Senior Sunday as we honor the elders of our church and celebrate the legacy of faith, love, wisdom, and prayers they have passed down to the generations that follow.
Come help us celebrate those who have faithfully paved the way.
There will be a special fellowship meal following the service. Everyone is welcome. We would love to have you join us for this special Senior Sunday service.

We are mourning the loss of a long time member and deacon of Central Grove. Jerry became a member of Central Grove on Aug 29, 1965 where he served for 61 years as a faithful and devoted member. He was ordained as a deacon of the church on Feb 28, 1988. Jerry poured his heart into serving our church family as deacon for 38 1/2 years. We want to take a moment to honor his extraordinary legacy of faith, leadership, and love.

We lifted up in prayer all our students, teachers, and school staff this morning before the new school year begins.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

This Sunday we’re coming together for a Back to School Prayer Service. We’ll be praying over our children, students, teachers, school, staff, and families- for protection, wisdom, courage, peace, good friendships, and God’s favor throughout the new school year. We want every child to know as they walk through those school doors: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. GOD GOES WITH YOU. Let’s fill our church with prayer for the next generation. Bring your children and bring your faith this Sunday, Aug 16, @ 11:00 a.m.

Moments With Seniors @ Wednesday Night Live. We continue to enjoy our senior members sharing their wisdom and how God has provided and continues to provide for them in their service to the Lord. We appreciate you Charles and Brenda Orton.

We invite all women to join us at Central Grove tonight, Aug 10 @ 6:00 p.m., for our monthly WMU meeting. Our goal in WMU is to make disciples of Jesus who live on mission by helping people learn about, pray for, give to, and actively participate in Christian missions. We also enjoy finger food at each meeting.

Join us for Operation Back to School @ Central Grove Sunday, August 2 @4:00 p.m. Our theme is ‘Walking in Courage this School Year’. (Joshua 1:9) We’ll have food , water slides, school supplies,hygiene products, school snacks, photo area, Bible verse help/blessings, and our annual Honorary Back to School Walk.
