Daily Devotion – Tuesday / June 2, 2026

There’s Resurrection in Your Bones
Ephesians 2:4-5 (NLT) But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
Without Jesus, we would still be spiritually empty and hopeless. But His resurrection changed everything about our future and our identity. The same power that raised Christ from the grave now breathes life into weary hearts and tired souls. Even when life feels heavy, His strength continues to sustain us from the inside out. God never intended for believers to live defeated lives. We may bend under pressure sometimes, but His grace keeps us from breaking. Remember this when challenges arise: resurrection power still lives in you.

Set up time will be at 10 a.m.

You Were Sent—Not Randomly Placed
1 Corinthians 15:10 (NLT) But what I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.
You are not an accident trying to become valuable someday. God created you with purpose already woven into your existence. Long before anyone misunderstood you, overlooked you, or doubted you, Heaven knew exactly who you were meant to be. The struggle many people have with you is often rooted in the fact that they cannot fully understand what God placed inside of you. You were never designed to blend into darkness—you were created to reveal His light. Stop shrinking yourself to make others comfortable with your calling. Walk boldly in who God created you to be, because Heaven always knew you were coming.

Come and Be Filled
John 4:14 (NLT) “Those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again.”
Our world constantly leaves us wanting more. No matter how much we consume, it never fully satisfies the deeper need within us. Jesus offers something entirely different—living water that fills the soul completely. His Presence refreshes, restores, and renews us from the inside out. This invitation is open to everyone, regardless of age or stage in life. You don’t have to earn it or chase it—it’s freely given. When you receive what He offers, everything changes. So the question still stands—are you ready for a drink?

God often answers prayers through people—and sometimes, that person is you. A simple act of kindness can become a life-changing moment for someone else. You don’t need a platform or a title to make an impact. Your willingness is enough for God to work through. When someone comes to mind, don’t ignore it—follow through. Love becomes real when it is expressed in action. Every day presents an opportunity to reflect God’s heart. Let Him use you in ways that make a difference.

Birthdays are more than personal milestones—they are reminders of God’s faithfulness through a life that continues to bless others. Pastor Daniel Simmons’ life speaks across generations, reaching the young with relevance and the seasoned with wisdom. In a time where leadership is often questioned, his consistency reflects Christ’s example. His voice has guided, encouraged, and strengthened countless lives. Both young and old can see the impact of a life surrendered to God’s calling. Today, we don’t just celebrate the day Pastor Simmons was born—we celebrate the lives that have been changed because he lives. May God continue to pour out His favor, strength, and peace upon him for years to come!
