God Is Not Finished With You (Su***de Prevention Month)
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
There are moments when pain can become so loud that it drowns out every reminder of hope. But a painful chapter is never permission to assume that the story is over. God sees what we cannot yet see, and He knows what lies beyond the place where our present circumstances have brought us. That is why we must be willing to reach for one another, listen without judgment, and remind hurting hearts that their lives still have meaning and purpose. If you are struggling today, please know this: the darkness you are experiencing is not the final word over your life. God still has purpose ahead, and sometimes His answer begins with one person being willing to say, “I see you, I hear you, and you do not have to walk through this alone.”

Nobody Is Strong Alone
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT) “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help.”

God never designed us to carry the weight of life by ourselves. There are seasons when we are strong enough to lift someone else, and there are seasons when we need someone else’s strength to lift us. That is not weakness; it is the beauty of being part of the family of God. Your encouragement may be the very thing that keeps another believer from giving up, just as someone else’s prayer may be the reason you find strength to keep moving. We are not merely people occupying the same pews. We are members of one body, carrying one another toward the purposes of God. So look around you—someone needs what God has placed in you, and one day, you may need what He has placed in someone else.

A Daily ‘Yes’ to Jesus
Joshua 24:15 (NLT) “But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
Following Jesus is more than a decision we make once. It is a commitment we are called to reaffirm through the choices we make every day. Every morning presents another opportunity to choose obedience over convenience, faith over fear, forgiveness over resentment, and God’s will over our own. There will be moments when following Christ costs us something, but nothing we surrender to God compares with what we gain by having Him lead our lives. We do not have to wait for a church service, an altar call, or a life-changing crisis to say yes to Jesus. Today, in the ordinary places and circumstances of your life, choose Him again. And when you do, let your life become a living declaration: “As for me, I will serve the Lord.”

Let Your Light Speak
Matthew 5:16 (NLT) “In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father.”

There is something beautiful about a person whose life carries the unmistakable evidence of God’s presence. Sometimes we never know how desperately someone needs the encouragement that our smile, kindness, patience, or simple act of goodness can provide. We may think we are merely going through an ordinary day, while God is using our ordinary presence to brighten someone else’s difficult one. The light Christ has placed within us was never meant to be hidden behind our circumstances, disappointments, or weariness. Let your life preach something today that your lips never have to say: God is still Good, and His Light is still shining. When His goodness is showing through you, somebody else may find enough light to keep going.

When the World Is Shaking
Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
There will always be something happening around us that has the potential to disturb our peace—troubling headlines, uncertain circumstances, unexpected losses, and situations we simply cannot control. But God never promised us a life without storms. God promised us His presence in the midst of them. When everything around us is shifting, we can choose where to anchor our thoughts and our trust. Our peace does not come from knowing what tomorrow will bring. Our peace comes from knowing the One who already holds tomorrow. So, when the world becomes noisy, chaotic, and frightening, quiet your spirit and fix your thoughts on God. The storm may be raging around you, but it does not have to rage within you
