Daily Devotion – Wednesday / June 24, 2026

Prepared for an Appointed Time
Genesis 18:19a (NLT) “I have singled him out so that he will direct his sons and their families to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.”
There are seasons when it feels like your gifts are unnoticed and your efforts unappreciated. But hidden seasons are often preparation seasons. God develops character before He reveals calling. The ordinary tasks you handle faithfully today may be sharpening skills you will need tomorrow. Nothing surrendered to God is ever wasted. Whether you serve quietly or publicly, your obedience matters deeply to the Kingdom. When the time is right, God knows exactly how to reveal what He has been preparing within you all along.

Forgive Yourself Too

Psalms 103:11-12 (NLT) “The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength.”
Many people believe God forgives them, yet they continue punishing themselves for past mistakes. But when God forgives, He does not keep replaying our failures before us. He removes our sins and offers us a fresh beginning. The enemy wants us trapped in shame because shame keeps testimonies silent. However, healed people can help heal other people. The very story that once embarrassed you may become the encouragement someone else desperately needs. When you finally accept God’s forgiveness for yourself, your pain can become a powerful witness of His grace.

Daily Devotion – Monday / June 22, 2026

When Your Flesh Wants the Final Word
Matthew 9:13 (NLT) Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
Doing the right thing is not always the easiest thing. Sometimes our emotions urge us to react quickly, defend ourselves, or return hurt for hurt. But the Holy Spirit teaches us to respond differently.
God’s Word does more than correct us—it also comforts, strengthens, and heals us. The same scripture that convicts us when we are wrong also restores us when we are wounded. Spending time in God’s Word daily prepares our hearts for the unexpected challenges life brings. When scripture lives within you, wisdom rises before reaction has the chance to speak.

Daily Devotion – Sunday / June 21, 2026

The Strength of a Godly Father (In Honor of Father’s Day)
Genesis 18:19a (NLT) “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Children may forget many things, but they rarely forget how someone made them feel.
A father’s time, attention, and spiritual example leave lasting footprints on a child’s heart.
The greatest fathers are not perfect men; they are present men. They pray, teach, encourage, protect, and point their children toward Jesus in everyday moments. Simple acts of love often become sacred memories years later. A father who walks faithfully with God gives his children something more valuable than money or possessions—he gives them direction. Long after his words fade from memory, the example of his life continues to speak.
