Subject: It's Not of God If It Causes Confusion

Scripture
1 Corinthians 14:33
"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace..."

If confusion is writing the story, God is not holding the pen. Trust His voice, follow His peace, and take the next step.

Have you ever considered that the confusion you're entertaining may not be coming from God?

We often assume that if we're confused, God must be silent. But Scripture teaches something different. God is not the author of confusion. He may challenge your faith, stretch your obedience, and require you to trust Him when you cannot see the whole picture, but He will not confuse you.

The enemy loves confusion because confusion creates hesitation. Hesitation delays obedience. Delayed obedience can cause us to miss moments God has prepared for us.

When Peter stepped out of the boat, he didn't have all the answers. He simply had one clear word from Jesus: "Come." That was enough.
Today, stop demanding explanations for what God has already made clear. If God has spoken through His Word, confirmed it through prayer, and filled your heart with His peace, take the next step.

The fog may be thick, but God's voice is still clear.

The storm may be loud, but God's peace is still stronger.

The battle may be real, but God's direction is still trustworthy.

Scripture: 1 John 4:1
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God..."

Every open door is not God's door.

Every opportunity is not God's opportunity.

Every feeling is not God's leading.

One of the enemy's greatest tactics is presenting a counterfeit that looks close enough to the real thing to deceive us.

Satan knows he cannot create what God creates, so he imitates it. He offers shortcuts instead of obedience, feelings instead of faith, and temporary satisfaction instead of lasting transformation.

This is why discernment is so important. God never intended for His people to blindly accept every voice, idea, or influence. He calls us to test everything against His Word and His character.

Before making a decision, ask yourself:

1. Does this bring me closer to Jesus?
2. Does it agree with Scripture?
3. Does it produce peace or confusion?
4. Does it strengthen my faith or feed my flesh?

The more time we spend with God, the easier it becomes to recognize what is truly from Him. Just as a banker recognizes counterfeit money because they know the genuine article, believers recognize deception because they know the voice of the Shepherd. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Today, don't be impressed by what looks spiritual. Be persuaded by what is biblical.

The goal of discernment is not to become suspicious of everything, but to become sensitive to God.

🌸☕ What a Beautiful Afternoon of Fellowship! ☕🌸

Today, the New Seasons Church Senior Life Group gathered for our Annual Tea Party, and what a blessing it was!

From beautiful hats and elegant attire to laughter, games, fellowship, worship, delicious food, and heartfelt conversations, the room was filled with joy and love. It was wonderful to see our seniors connecting, sharing memories, making new ones, and simply enjoying time together.

A special thank you to our Senior Life Group Facilitator, Torsha Lennear, and our Mistress of Ceremony, Marlisa Bailey, whose energy, warmth, and engaging presence helped make the afternoon memorable and fun for everyone in attendance. We also extend our appreciation to every volunteer and supporter who helped bring this event to life.

From the icebreakers and games to the praise dance and fellowship, each moment reflected the love, unity, and community that make New Seasons Church so special.

At New Seasons Church, we believe every season of life matters, and today was a beautiful reminder that friendship, faith, and purpose continue to flourish at every age.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this year’s tea party a success. We are already looking forward to next year!

Subject: Series: When Weakness Becomes a Weapon
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."

Most of us spend our lives trying to hide our weaknesses. We hide our fears. We hide our struggles. We hide our failures. We hide our wounds. We think strength means having no problems and needing no help. But God sees weakness differently.
What if the very thing you have been asking God to remove is the very thing He wants to use? Paul prayed three times for his thorn to be taken away. God did not remove the thorn. God supplied grace. Paul wanted relief. God provided strength. Paul wanted escape. God offered empowerment.

Sometimes God's greatest blessing is not changing your situation. Sometimes His greatest blessing is changing you in the middle of your situation. The weakness you resent may become the testimony that inspires others.

The struggle you carry may become the platform where God's power is revealed.

The wound you wish had never happened may become the place where God's grace shines the brightest.

Do not measure God's faithfulness by how quickly He removes your problem.

Measure His faithfulness by how consistently He sustains you through it.

If you are still standing after everything you've been through, that is evidence that grace has been carrying you all along.
