We would love to have you come and join our youth group, Thrive Student Ministries, tomorrow night! We will be making caramel apples and studying the book of Philippians. Our Savior's Lutheran Church has started a series of small groups to study the book of Philippians over the next several weeks and we are joining in on the fun. We will also have time for exciting gym games. This is open to students in eighth grade up to very recent high school graduates.

What a way to kick off the fall! Last week Thrive Student Ministries headed to The Bunker in Latham for a fun night of golf simulators, pizza, nachos, wings, and lots of laughs!

More than anything, it was a great opportunity to get to know one another, make new friends, and start the year off with some great fellowship.

We were blessed to have a beautiful private room at The Bunker, which gave us plenty of time to hang out together and even have some meaningful side conversations about God. What a wonderful way to set the tone for the year. We’re excited to see what God has in store for this group this year! Our next event will be on Thursday, October 15 from 6:30-8:30 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Please join us!

Our church got a little bigger on Sunday! A tour bus carrying about 40 travelers from St. John's Lutheran Church in Marysville, Ohio was looking for a church to attend while on their way to explore New England, and they found their way to us! Suddenly, we had 40 new faces filling our seats, adding some extra energy to the singing and making our Sunday service feel extra lively.

We couldn’t let the travelers get back on a bus without feeding them! After the service, we had lunch with pizza, salad, crudité platters, and plenty of desserts. Our congregation got to sit down, eat, laugh, and get to know our new friends. We even sent our guests off with a little gift bag to remember us by.

It was such a blessing to welcome people from Ohio who share our faith. We are happy they chose to worship with us!
