Just a reminder that tomorrow Aug 30 will be the Church Picnic at Millersburg City Park,( 3030 Alexander Ln NE, Albany ) - after church ~ 1pm. A-M get to bring dessert this time and N-Z a main dish or side. The Church will have pulled pork, plates and utensils. Please bring your own drinks. There are tables/benches available, but there is also space if you choose to bring a lawnchair. Come join us for the last hurrah of the summer!

Dear Church Family,

I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you.

Following our special called business meeting today, I contacted Pastor Danette Beisley and shared the results of the congregational vote. With 44 yes votes and 3 no votes, the church extended to her a call with 94% affirmation.

Pastor Danette shared that she has been praying about this decision for some time, and she has graciously accepted the call to serve as our next Lead Pastor.

Her official start date will be September 1, 2026.

This is an exciting new chapter in the life of our church. I am grateful for the prayerful way our congregation has walked through this process, and I encourage each of us to continue praying for Pastor Danette as she begins her ministry among us.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

May we move forward together with grateful hearts, trusting that God will continue to lead and guide His church.
