Men of Greenbriar, let's hang out! 🙌

We've officially wrapped up our Men's 242 Thursday morning breakfasts for the year, but we're not done gathering!

Join us TOMORROW NIGHT (Thursday, October 22) from 6:00–8:30 PM at the Teague residence for a fun evening of food, fellowship, and time together!

While our Thursday morning breakfasts have come to a close for the year, we encourage you to keep building on the relationships formed through Men's 242! Whether through small groups, DNA groups, or simply making time to meet together, let's continue encouraging one another and growing in our walks with Christ.

Be sure to check your email for more details about tomorrow night's gathering.

We're thankful for the time we've spent growing together this year, and we can't wait to enjoy another evening together. See you there!

Hey parents!

We invite you to bring your kiddos to PUMPKINS & PJS while you enjoy a parent's night out! Kids, grab your favorite comfy pajamas and get ready to have a night filled with crafts, games, food, and a fun experiment! This special evening will serve as a fundraiser supporting GB YTH and our 4th & 5th Grade Gatherings.

Cost: $15 PER FAMILY. Additional donations are welcome!

What does it mean to live as God’s people, set apart for Him?

This Sunday, Pastor Tim continued our journey through 1 Timothy with a message from 1 Timothy 2:8–10 about God’s design for men and women in the church and the home. We were reminded that holiness isn’t about being superior to others, following a list of rules, or simply looking the part. It’s about belonging to God and allowing that reality to shape the way we live.

Pastor Tim challenged us to consider the responsibility that comes with leadership, the heart behind the way we present ourselves, and the importance of reflecting Christ in our everyday lives—
“The man who leads is the man who serves.” This is a reminder that God’s design is not about elevating ourselves above others, but about living in humble submission to Him and serving one another in love.

As we head into a new week, may our lives reflect the holiness, humility, and love of Jesus in everything we do.

Tomorrow is our last Men’s 242 Breakfast of the year! We’ll have special guests Brian Lowe from Exodus Church and John Schroeder from The Well Church joining us to lead the morning. You won’t want to miss it, so set those alarms and come enjoy some breakfast, fellowship, and encouragement!

What a meaningful Sunday together at Greenbriar! 🙌

This week, we continued our journey through 1 Timothy and looked at what it means to live out God’s design for His people. In 1 Timothy 2:8–10, we were reminded that holiness isn’t about appearances, superiority, or simply following rules. It’s about living lives set apart for God, reflecting the character of Jesus in the way we serve, lead, and care for others.

May our lives point beyond ourselves and reflect the goodness of the One we belong to.

We’re thankful for another Sunday worshiping together as the family of God! ❤️

Because He loves us, we desire to please Him. And one way we do that is by praying for others.

This Sunday in 1 Timothy 2, we were reminded that prayer should be woven into the life of a believer. We are called to pray for all people—not only those we love and agree with, but those who oppose us, those in authority, and those who do not yet know Christ.

May our love for God move us to pray for the salvation of the people around us, because it is good and pleasing to God, and because we get to join in His desire to see the lost come to know Him.

We’re grateful for friends like Jason Berl, an incredible counselor and teacher who has served alongside Greenbriar Church through preaching and other ministry opportunities.

Jason has put together a free 9-part lesson series designed to help us navigate relational conflict and some of the difficult situations we can find ourselves in with the people around us.

What a gift it is to gather with our Greenbriar family each Sunday—to worship together, open God’s Word, and be reminded of how the Gospel shapes the way we live. 💚

This Sunday, we continued in 1 Timothy with a simple but challenging truth: We are to pray for the salvation of all people—including those who oppose us.

As believers, we should pray not only for the people we love or the people who agree with us, but for our neighbors, our leaders, those who are far from Christ, and even those who may have hurt or opposed us.

Who can you pray for this week?

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we gather again and continue our study through 1 Timothy. Bring a friend, and come worship with us!
