It’s been several years since we’ve offered an Academy class, but we are bringing it back!

The Academy is a set of learning modules meant to support your discipleship and grow your confidence and ability to disciple others. The first module we are offering is Gospel Fluency. The aim of it is to help you be more “fluent in the Gospel.” In other words, we want to help you see how the Gospel is the good news of Jesus that affects every part of life and be able to communicate those connections to others. This is a foundational concept that will be sure to be a blessing for anyone 6th grade and up.

We will meet every Monday night in October from 6:30-8:00 pm starting on October 5th (4 weeks). Childcare will be offered for 5th grade and under. Please sign up using the link below no later than September 27th so we can have enough materials prepared.

Enjoy a guided abstract painting class, coffee, and light brunch refreshments while connecting with other women. Bring one canvas (new or repurposed and painted white)—we'll provide the paint and supplies!

MEN’S 242 IS OFF TO A GREAT START! 💪

What a joy these past two weeks of Men’s 242 have been! We’ve shared good food, prayed together, opened God’s Word, and had some great conversations about what it means to live as men who know they are God’s beloved sons.

What a joyful Sunday at Greenbriar!

Yesterday, we celebrated six baptisms—six people publicly proclaiming their faith in Jesus and reminding us of the hope we share as the family of God.

We also began our new sermon series through 1 Timothy, where we learned “the family of God flourishes under His good authority and in the hope of Christ.”And what better way to see that hope on display than through baptism?!

In 1 Timothy, Paul reminds us that the church is more than a place we attend—we are a family. We belong to the living God, we flourish under His good authority, and Christ Jesus is our hope.

We are so thankful for our church family, and we’re rejoicing with these six brothers and sisters as they took this step of obedience!

Join us next Sunday at 10 AM as we continue through 1 Timothy and learn more about what it means to flourish together as the family of God.

This Sunday is going to be a BIG one! 🙌

We’ve got baptisms, a Partner Meeting, AND we’re kicking off a brand-new sermon series!

💧 Baptisms — We can't wait to share in and celebrate with several individuals who have committed their lives to Christ! Also, if you are interested in being baptized tap one of the dots found around the church, talk with an elder, or stop by the Connect Desk in the front lobby of Greenbriar. We would love to talk with you!

🤝 Partner Meeting —We expect this meeting to be briefer than usual (25 minutes or less). Instead of our typical meal together, we will only be providing light snacks.

This fall, the Women’s Ministry will be studying 1 Peter using Jen Wilkin’s 1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ. This bible study will begin the week of September 21 and will end the week of November 16.

We are offering two confirmed study times:
-Mondays @ 6:00 AM (through Google Meet, accessible from your phone or computer)

-Thursdays @ 6:00 PM (in person at Meredith Holland’s home)

Interested in learning more about Greenbriar Church and what it means to become a church partner? There's still time to register for our Fall Partnership Experience!

Dates: Sundays, August 23 – September 20 (no meeting September 6 for Labor Day weekend)
Time: 3:00–5:00 PM (dinner provided following the final session)

Partnership Experience is a four-week journey designed to help you learn more about our church's mission, values, and vision. Each session includes teaching from our elders, small-group discussion, opportunities to share and hear testimonies, and time to build relationships with others.

Whether you're ready to pursue partnership or simply want to learn more about Greenbriar, this experience is a great next step. While there is no obligation to become a church partner at the conclusion of the class, completion of Partnership Experience is required for those who wish to pursue partnership.

🎉 WHAT AN EVENT! 🎉

Our Greenbriar Church-Wide Extravaganza was one for the books! From celebrating the exciting progress of GB Park to connecting with our church family, we had an incredible time together.

It was so much fun seeing people from every area of Greenbriar come together—kids, students, adults, families, groups, and friends—all enjoying time together and celebrating what God is doing in and through our church. ❤️
As we head into a new season of ministries, groups, and discipleship opportunities, we’re reminded that church is more than a Sunday morning—it’s a family we get to do life with.

Thank you to everyone who came out, served, invited friends, and helped make this event so special!
