Albany Hindu Temple The Hindu Temple Society of Capital District, was founded in 1976 and is located in Loudonville, NY.

It is a place of worship by Hindu devotees in and around Capital District and also visitors from other areas and all over the world. Albany Hindu Temple is unique because all segments of Hindu Community have a special place for worship of their own with Ganesha, Lakshmi Narayana, Shiva, Parvathi, Shrinathji, Radha Krishna, Swaminarayana, Navagrahas, Nageswara, Saraswati, Durga, Buddha, Iyyappa Swa

Candle Vigil for Nepal Tragedy - Today, 7pm

Dear friends,

The Nepali community in Albany is conducting a Candle Vigil for the terrible tragedy on Tuesday, September 1 at 7 pm at our HTS parking lot. They are also trying to raise some funds. Our Hindu Temple is joining hands with them in sharing their grief.

Let us be of support to this grieving brothers of ours by our presence in this candle vigil and also by offering monetary support. Let us make them feel that we are a Vasutheva Kutumpakam, as our famous adage goes.
