If Jefferson Street (around Phoebe) is on your route to church, please note this upcoming street closure!

A City of Albany combined sewer separation project will have a significant impact on traffic around Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and will make it more difficult for patients and visitors to get to Phoebe's main campus. The city plans to close Jefferson Street -- the primary access point for the hospital -- at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16.
Traffic will only be able to access the Emergency Center by going west on 4th Avenue and motorists will only be able to get to the main hospital parking lot and entrance by going east on 2nd Avenue.

KidzQuest, our annual children’s retreat for 3rd - 5th graders, will be held at Epworth By The Sea September 22-24. This is a great weekend get away for our older elementary kids! Deadline for sign up is Wednesday, August 23. Cost is $150.

SUMMER CAMP FOR RISING 4TH – 6TH GRADERS
Register your child for Camp Connect at Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island. This will be a week filled with non-stop, fun activities and opportunities to grow closer to Christ though daily worship, Bible study, and fellowship. Campers will enjoy the beach, boat rides, a bonfire, art, games galore, hilarious morning shows, and evenings of camp-wide games and worship. Transportation is provided to and from the island.
Dates: July 10-14
Grades: Current 3rd – 5th Graders

SPECIAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY
Our church has been blessed by the late Kevin and Karen Kiefer with the gift of their home. They were fervent church members and even after being unable to attend in person, Mrs. Karen would watch online each Sunday. It was their desire to make a contribution back to the church that was such an important part of their lives. The Board of Trustees has put together a plan for how the property might benefit the church and our community, but first there is much work to be done in and around the home. This is a wonderful way that you can participate in beautifying an area of our downtown community and once again be the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve the wishes of the Kiefers.

On Saturday, June 3 starting at 9:00 AM, we will have a work day! The property is located at 709 Muse Avenue (near Lincoln Elementary School).
We will need help with the following projects:
Cut back bushes and vines that have grown up over the windows.
Cut back bamboo in the back lot that has grown up.
Cut grass.
Clean out the home: clothing, mail, photos, and other personal items.
Remove trash and some furniture.
