Students! Tonight is Allen’s last official youth night as our youth pastor. We hope you can make it out to help us honor and celebrate him and his 7.5 years of faithful service and stewardship to our students and families. We are so grateful of all that God has done in Allen and through him at our church and youth ministry.

We will be at the Margin Coffee Roastery tonight next to Les Schwab. Drinks are on us. There will be snacks, sweets, worship, and small groups as we continue our summer book series. Bring a note of encouragement or come ready give words of affirmation as we send off Allen to this exciting next season of life ahead of him.

Second volunteer spotlight of the week! We are so grateful for our team of adult volunteers that faithfully serve in our ministry and demonstrate the love of Jesus to our teens.

This is Sheila! She loves sharing about how she follows Jesus in her personal life with our students, helps us behind the scenes with our budget spreadsheet and tracking numbers, and loves supporting our students beyond the walls of our church. When she isn’t attending a student event, she crunches numbers for a local truck and transportation business. Her drink of choice is a vanilla latte - hot on cold days and iced on hot days - and always “no classic”.

We love Sheila and are so thankful she stepped into serving after attending a mission trip with us. When you see her, encourage and thank her for how she loves our teens like Jesus does!

We love our leaders! Our volunteers give so much of their time, energy, and gifts to serve our ministry and pour into kids. In the month of May, we are surprising each of our leaders with their favorite coffee drink and a personal canvas with notes of encouragement from our students to their place of employment.

This is Nate. When he is not dominating in 9 Square or leading our guys small groups, he works at a local tree seedling nursery container business connecting people and businesses to their plant container needs. Currently, his coffee drink of choice is an oat milk decaf latte from Margin.

We love Nate and are so thankful for how pours into our students. If you see him, please thank him! We are so grateful!

Students! We had a BLAST on our winter retreat. We loved journeying with you, reflecting and being introspective about our hearts and inner life.

As with any teaching we do in youth, a lot of prep goes in behind the scenes in the way of studying and reading. For this retreat in particular, these were the books we read and pulled from for our talks each session.

Students! Youth is back this Sunday evening! We kick off our new series walking through the book of Genesis, viewing God and the story of the Scriptures through the eyes and viewpoints of different characters. We hope you join us this semester as we study the first book of the Bible.

Students! Our Winter Retreat is this month! We are heading back to Camp Tadmor January 16-18 for a weekend filled with games, worship, small group, and community!
