Community, care, and advocacy came together this April.

We were grateful to be part of a spring cookout at Sheridan Park, hosted by the National Union Of The Homeless. as part of “Project of Survival,” and co-sponsored by the Poor People's Campaign (Capital Region NYS) and the Nonviolent Medicaid Army.

As seasonal Code Blue shelters begin to close across the Capital Region, gatherings like this are more than a meal. They are a reminder of the ongoing need for housing justice, community support, and dignity for all.

We are especially grateful for the leadership of Joe Paparone and others who continue to show up and organize.
