Please be in prayer for our Pastor, Jerry Evers' daughter Jessica. Jessica has been having some breathing issues and was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. According to his last post they are doing a heart cath. He asked for prayers that there would be no blockage. You can stay up to date on her condition by following his page or his wife Dorrie's page. They will be able to post the latest information. Please pray also for Jerry and Dorrie also as it is hard to see our children being sick even if they are grown. Thanking you in advance for your prayers.

Today is Memorial Day. We want to remember and honor the service men and women who gave their lives for this country. Because of them, we get to enjoy the freedoms that we have today.

We are so thankful for the rain received yesterday. As always, some areas got more than others. Several GA. counties are being affected by wildfires which have become uncontrollable due to the drought. Homes and business have been lost due to these fires. There are many who are risking their lives fighting them. We need to remember all of these people in our prayers as well as those who live in the areas where the fires are spreading into. Some of these areas got small amounts of rain but not nearly enough to stop the fires. God is still in control. He can stop these fires and send the needed rain but we need to humble ourselves, drop to our knees and ask for His mercy and love to be shown.
