Missionary Mail....
We have seen soooo many miracles this week, like a crazy amount. 100% only possible because of God. We've found a few kids who are AOY(aged out youth) and when someone is 8 the ward is in charge of their baptism, but after they turn 9 they've aged out of that, and when the parents are active that barely happens but we've had a couple of them, which for numbers is good, but we don't care about numbers, we care about people going to church. Alot of the newly baptized people don't go to church, which sucks but we'll talk to them and work on it. The spirit has been giving us alot to work with, which is cool, I'm very grateful. Last night we decided to knock one last door at 8:50, it was a gray dot and she had previously said she wasn't interested but we knocked anyways, a lady opened it up and she said she just moved in, so we asked her if shes met with missionaries and she said she has, but they never called her back, so that means shes INTERESTED so we talked to her, set up an appointment for today, and hopefully we'll be able to teach her the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's funny this happened because my comp was saying President Russell said in a meeting with the leadership "the Holy Ghost works in the dark" and that was for sure true.
Okay quick highs and lows
Highs
•We have alot of work
•people love us here(most of the time)
•Pocatello has alot of food options, kinda like liberty back home
•I feel the spirit alot, like alot
Lows
•cussed out alot
•bashed alot
•I get "it's elder🤓" alot, pmo.

This week I've been thinking about perfection.
Often we hear Christ say "be ye perfect, even as I am." And take that a little further then we need to. He says to be perfect, that is the goal, but we are not expected, nor can we achieve that, in this life alone!
Perfection is the goal, not the journey.
As we strive to change and be 1% better every day, we ought to all keep in mind that pretending to be perfect or beating ourselves up for not seeming as "perfect" as someone else is less then productive.
Quit it!

Jesus Christ died for YOUR sins. He has already paid the price, it's done, finished, complete, ended. All you can do to repay him is TRY.
He doesn't ask for perfect right now. He doesn't need you to be perfect to be His.

Moronic 10: 32 says
"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God."

He wants us to CHANGE. Be better and deny ourselves ungodliness, but He doesn't expect us to reach the goal without walking the trail, and stumbling as we do.

Come as you are, don't stay as you are.

As you work to turn your heart toward Christ and beg Him on your knees for His help, He WILL do all possible to clear the way for you. Ask, and you will receive. Knock, abd it will be opened to you.

With Christ, you can do it.
Hurrah for Israel 🔥
