As of 5/7/25 we received almost 6” of rain at Graceland . Unfortunately, until there is quick dry weather, we will not be able to get our mowers on the grounds without serious damage. Pray for Sun!

April 18th 2025 Good Friday, Graceland’s Office will be closed!
We will reopen Monday, April 21st.

Due to winter thaw, rain, then snow, we are now Starting Spring Cleanup!

Please be advised that all gravesites must be clear of all Flowers, and other items April 1st. Any items that you want to save should be taken home before April 1st!

Our crews will be performing Spring cleanup beginning April 1st. They will discard any items that should not be there according to Graceland Regulations.

The Spanish American War Memorial is composed of a main concrete structure dating back to 1917. Sixty-seven white marble head stones, arranged in concentric circles, are adjacent. Included among the soldiers and sailors buried there are members of the 177th NY Volunteer Infantry (the 10th Regiment’s federal designation during the Civil War) and the 1st NY Volunteer Infantry (Spanish-American War.
