Yesterday was such a great day as we witnessed Tenley make her public profession of faith through baptism! Tenley has shown such an excitement for Jesus and we pray she continues to grow in her faith and excitement!

I couldn’t help but steal this picture to use as well. Her friends and family came to cheer her on yesterday. She’s helped invite other teens to youth over the last few months who have also given their lives together. This shows us all that it is important to surround ourselves with friends who will cheer you on in your faith journey, and you never know what might happen when you invite others to church!

What an absolutely amazing night! Worship was 🔥 and Ryan Booth took a bold step tonight to teach his first lesson! He absolutely brought the Word and we are so proud of his willingness to be bold. It was a full house and it is exciting to see what God is doing with this group! Be on the lookout for Ryan’s video.

Our phrase of the year since January has been, “Boldly Go.” We want to increase our awareness of those around us who are hurting and need Jesus, and have the courage to speak up and proclaim His love and hope to them. As the new school year is beginning, be in prayer that our students will be able to be bold for Jesus this year!

Last night’s Level Up Fall Kickoff did not disappoint! Mario Kart in real life? Yes please! Congrats to Team Bowser for the win! When it’s time to level up in our spiritual lives, it begins with change, requires courage, has a new mission, and always starts with a single step forward. God is about to level up a lot of kids and teens at Refuge Students!
