An amazing soul passed into eternity yesterday. Joe Pattison was kind, intelligent, and fiercely loyal. He walked through a difficult time with my family. He was my favorite person to talk to about theology. He loved his family intensely. He endured a lot of pain and health problems with grace and very few complaints. I miss him intensely, but I am comforted by the fact that he is at peace in eternity.
